If you&rsquo;ve never seen the moon rise, now is the ideal time as it begins its ascent over the horizon as the sun sets exactly opposite.
In <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/faith-is-restored-as-we-enter-sagittarius-season" target="_blank" rel="noopener">astrology</a>, the moon symbolically represents the mother and our emotional self. It's by exploring our moon sign that we can better understand what we need in order to soothe or parent ourselves. It&rsquo;s our intuition, our unconscious motives and drives. I think of The Luminaries (the sun and moon sign) as ego/soul, head/heart, masculine/feminine.

This week&rsquo;s Full Moon in Gemini opposes the Sun in Sagittarius. Gemini and Sagittarius are the axis of information. The small details, surface information, logic plus the bigger picture, future vision, wisdom, meaning.
During the Gemini Full Moon, we are presented with themes around marrying these two polarities within the life zone they fall into in our personal astrology.&nbsp;
At this Full Moon - trickster planet and Gemini&rsquo;s ruling planet Mercury, has already started its shadow phase before its third and final retrograde period of the year (starting 13 December).
Mercury Retrograde has become famous for causing problems with communication, travel plans and tech failures. Perfect timing then for the holiday season! I think it&rsquo;s safe to say that 2023 has been a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. This final Mercury Retrograde will make sure of that.
What's more, at this Full Moon, Mercury is at a challenging square aspect to Neptune - the planet of avoidance and what is hidden. Things may not be super clear right now. How we feel, what we want, what others say&hellip; there is plenty of scope for miscommunication so keep this in mind now.
If you are signing contracts, negotiating deals or making travel plans, pay extra attention. Double check the details, do not leave things to chance or skim over the important small print. Get any car troubles sorted before they escalate, and back up your tech devices.
What's more, planet Mars conjunct the Sun, encouraging us to move ahead with big plans but with Saturn squaring we may be feeling blocked or stuck. It&rsquo;s as if we are unable to lay concrete plans because we don&rsquo;t have all the information we need yet.
This energy could increase frustration causing angry outbursts and exchanges (that we regret later). With <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/venus-what-the-love-and-money-planet-has-in-store-for-us-next" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Venus</a> at the eclipse point conjunct the South Node bringing echoes of events around the October eclipses, this may present the final scenario or straw to close a chapter for good.
During this Full Moon particularly, our minds may be overstimulated. We might experience poor sleep and our nervous system can be easily activated. Combat this by taking calming long walks in nature, get a good <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/soul-spirituality/5-tips-for-a-heavenly-sleep" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sleep regime</a> in place this week, meditate, journal, and double down on activities that soothe the mind and nervous system. Avoid anything that over-stimulates or disrupts brain chemistry such as; processed foods, sugar, alcohol, drugs, late night computer gazing and social media doom scrolling.
