Finally! There is renewed optimism and forward motion in the air as the sun enters the constellation of Sagittarius for its annual sojourn through the adventurous zodiac sign of faith, hope and charity.

From <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/november-the-time-for-big-power-moves" target="_blank" rel="noopener">November</a> 22nd to December 22nd, the sun brings lightness to the challenging lessons and revelations made apparent during Scorpio season.
When the sun is in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/scorpio-season-on-scorpio-island-ibiza-here-s-what-you-need-to-know" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scorpio</a>, we are encouraged to dive deep within. The energy has an inward focus where we are met with hard truths. These bring about the death of part of us that we have outgrown to make space for renewal and growth. It is the energy of transformation and that growth-spurt isn&rsquo;t always a walk in the park. As the nights draw in and the season changes, the energy takes on an intense, brooding quality. This year especially with the eclipses in October. Including the final Taurus <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/soul-spirituality/4-full-moon-rituals-to-remove-spiritually-and-attract-abundance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Full Moon</a> Eclipse during Scorpio season with its rumbles and aftershocks that continued into November.
Sagittarius, on the other hand, has an outward focussed energy that brings faith and optimism with it. It helps us dream big and ponder important philosophical questions like: Where are we going? What are we passionate about? What is our purpose?
Whatever knowledge we mine during the introspection of Scorpio season can now ignite into innovation as the sun, mercury and mars trailblaze through Sagittarius continuing to assist our exciting journey of self discovery.
This applies to everyone. The part of life most impacted depends on the planets you have in Sagittarius and where the archetype lands in your own personal astrology.
Generally, Sagittarius dominants (with Sagittarius Sun, Moon or Rising) will be impacted the most, followed by the other mutable signs of Virgo, Gemini and Pisces.

As the Sun then Mars enters Sagittarius, joining communication and thinking planet Mercury already paving the way, our hearts, mind and body may want to move along, chasing our dreams but Karmic Saturn of responsibility and mastery is stuck at a challenging square in Pisces, putting a downer on the party. Saturn energy is restrictive so there may be just a few more hoops to jump through before hope is completely restored and you can reap the rewards.
27 November newsflashes and eclipse rumbles
Just as we&rsquo;re getting into the swing of the season, look out for 27 November. We have a distracting, flighty Full Moon in chatty Gemini - the opposite sign to Sagittarius. What&rsquo;s more, Venus, the ruling planet of the powerful Libra and Taurus Eclipses of October, glides over the Libra eclipse point. There could be forward momentum or revelations around the events or ideas that came to fruition in October, particularly where relationships are concerned.
If you&rsquo;re looking for a time to make an announcement or bring something out onto the world stage, this is your big chance.
A day for big planning and expansion into 2024
On 13 December we have this year&rsquo;s only New Moon in Sagittarius, infusing the 28 days following it with the energy of optimism, abundance and luck. Forget about January 1st for plotting your resolutions, this is the day for big dreams about 2024! What do you want to call in? How will you use the incoming year and what will you achieve by the end of it? Sagittarius is future-thinking, using the wisdom from past experience as the fuel to ignite our passionate visions. Set your intentions on this day and take aligned action over the next 6 months towards the corresponding Sagittarius Full Moon in next May. Heart led intentions for the win!
Bonus celebrations
Between 17-22 December - just before the end of Sagittarius season, the sun makes its annual conjunction with The Galactic Center at 27 degrees. This is a supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. The point of all creation with incredibly powerful energy and force. Dial in during this window of time for massive awakenings, enlightenment and creative downloads. Especially on 19 December when the conjunction is exact. A bonus time for anchoring anything you want to expand or amplify in your future existence.
Needless to say, as Sagittarius is the sign of learning through life experiences, this is the perfect time to envision your ideal 2024, what you want to create and what adventures you want the year to hold.
