In a short time she transformed it into a cult brand, without proposing extravagant fashion shows, preferring a direct approach to the product, aimed at women of importance. The Resort 2015 campaign with Joan Didion is emblematic, the spring summer 2017 collection, inspired by Yves Klein's Anthropometries and International Klein Blue and the edgy details applied on silhouettes and accessories: &laquo;I hope that clothes have value. They are well made and the fabrics are wonderful. I believe they will last, as an investment" , she declared in 2010.

Recommended by industry insiders as the brand to wear, Phoebe Philo managed to revive the maison, winning the British Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards for the second time in 2010 and the award at the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/the-best-red-carpet-looks-from-the-cfda-fashion-awards-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CFDA Fashion</a> the following year Awards . She returns today, after six years, with her eponymous brand, with the idea of ​​presenting two seasonless collections per year, conceived as " Edit ", composed of three drops spaced a few months apart, with the aim of maintaining a balance between production and demand. &ldquo;In addressing environmental impacts our focus is on the material issues of overconsumption, waste and the supply chain. This means producing less." The Phoebe Philo Studio, based in London, directed together with her husband, the gallery owner Max Wigram, with the support of LVMH in the role of shareholder because, as Arnault says: &laquo;She is one of the most talented designers of our time&raquo; .

On October 31st she presented the first drop of the "Edit A1" , 150 pieces told by a lookbook shot by the photographer and artist Talia Chetrit and a casting among which Daria Werbowy , Philo's favourite, stands out: &laquo;Being in my studio and going back to drawing once again it was exciting and satisfying" , she told BoF "I want to get back in touch with my audience. Being independent and experimenting on my own terms."
