KNWLS
The brand&nbsp;based in South London, rebranded as KNWLS in 2021, was founded in 2017 by Charlotte Knowles and partner Alexandre Arsenault, who met while studying at Central Saint Martins. KNWLS strives to embody a powerful yet disruptive vision of femininity, dangerous and sensual. A tough, utilitarian sensibility, where pieces can look like armor and challenge the modern female wardrobe. SANDY LIANG As a child she scribbled them incessantly, along with other symbols – hearts, stars and flowers – which have since become key motifs in all her collections. New York-based Sandy founded her eponymous brand in 2014, soon after graduating from Parsons School of Design at just 23 years old. Her style can be defined as a Lower East Side cool girl meets Chinatown grandmother aesthetic. In 2019, the brand launched its first cult item: a playful and bold sweatshirt that has become a sort of Holy Grail among industry insiders and always draws inspiration from its childhood wardrobe. The success then spread to social media where the &quot;Liang Girl&quot; look went viral on TikTok, thanks also to the fact that Bella Hadid promoted the outfit herself on her social media: Jacket, tailored Bermuda shorts, knee-highs and sneakers. IAMISIGO
Born in 2009, the brand of Nigerian origin is one of the most appreciated on the African continent and beyond. The founder Bubu Ogisi, after studying computer science, landed in Paris to study at the ESMOD institute. From the beginning, each collection has reflected Lisa's lifestyle of travel through Asia and her exploration of sustainable craftsmanship in places such as Italy, Bali, China and Morocco. Where Von Tang excels, however, is in her more essential dresses such as silk or chiffon slip dresses, flowing and flowing caftans. Many of the knitwear items or bustiers, for example, were made with recycled nylon, regenerated jute and other deadstock materials sourced from Italian suppliers. OTTOLINGER The Berlin brand Ottolinger is a collaboration between Swiss designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient.
