Between cocktails and cuisine, New York is dreamed of at the Hyatt Centric restaurant in Milan. And for those who want to leave, there is the Compagnie business class flight only.

On the back wall there are black and white photos: the Brooklyn bridge, Fiorello LaGuardia next to a gigantic freshly caught halibut, the clubs with smiling people posing, the streets full of people. It is a <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/history-gay-nightlife-nyc-clubs-drag-ball" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York</a> of the last century, to which <a href="http://www.rivington.it">Rivington</a> refers, the restaurant that took its name from Rivington street, a street on the Lower East Side, a neighbourhood known for its <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/a-musical-history-of-tina-turner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">music</a> - from American punk to new wave - and where many Italian immigrants found fortune.

And the restaurant too, whose aesthetics reflect those of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/travel/rooftop-pools-nyc-hotels" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Manhattan</a>, with warm colors and soft seats, a jazzy atmosphere and retro allure, has a view of the skyscrapers, but they are those of Milan, because we are on the seventh floor of the Hyatt Centric Centrale. A concept that the head chef Guglielmo Giudice, collaborating with Jeffrey Tascarella and Chris Lowder (consultants for the food and bar part) has also followed in the gastronomic proposal bringing, together with the use of excellent raw materials, the authenticity of New York cuisine in the city.

You cannot fail to order a <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/cocktail-trends-cool-and-simple-mixed-drinks-for-parties-and-at-home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cocktail </a>served at the table, such as the Classic Manhattan or the Martini, but if you are not into alcohol, the mocktails are no less. Meanwhile, while home-made bread and breadsticks are served, with a butter with aromatic herbs and sea salt that leaves no way out, you leaf through the menu.
And it makes you want to start with a Shrimp cocktail or Lobster Salad. Then the paths divide, between those who choose The Vanderbilt Burger (two 100g hamburgers mashed and grilled with New York State Cheddar and Dijon Mayo on a toasted bun and french fries, as explained on the menu), the Hudson Steak tartare, the New York Strip or Surf &amp; Turf (Angus fillet and steamed lobster). But there are also vegetarian alternatives. And it ends, of course, with a NY-style Cheesecake or a delicious Apple pie.

And if at this point, the only thing to do is leave, <a href="lacompagnie.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">La Compagnie</a> is a French airline with only (smart) business class , whose Milan Malpensa - New York-Newark flight is operated several times a week, and just had a successful year.
