A stone&#39;s throw from the gardens of the Palais Royal and the Louvre Museum, the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal occupies a location now famous throughout the world thanks to the Netflix series. Recently renovated, it has other advantages. We present them to you.

If the agency is fictitious, the decor is very real, and in particular the magnificent 18th century building (listed as a Historic Monument) which stands at the corner of rue de Valois. It is home to a hotel with Parisian elegance and particularly Instagrammable, the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal.&nbsp;While it has just had a makeover, this is an opportunity to (re)discover this beautiful 5 star ideally located , close to the Com&eacute;die Fran&ccedil;aise and the Louvre Museum.
To this privileged location which is a strong argument, the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/travel/discover-the-hotel-house-of-the-poet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hotel</a> adds other assets: a smiling and efficient welcome and, above all, an extremely refined decoration. No wonder, the interior atmosphere of this historic residence is signed Pierre-Yves Rochon. The star <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/corner-of-architect-the-accessible-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">architect</a>, behind the decoration of some of the greatest palaces (The Four Seasons George V in Paris, the Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, the Grand Hotel du Cap in Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat ...), knew how to design, here, an environment in harmony with the house. He played on the full range of codes of the great French tradition by infusing a few contemporary touches. In the lobby, lounges and restaurant as well as in the 68 rooms and suites, the effect is very successful.

The rooms, precisely. Bright and dressed in soft colours and classic chic furniture, they open their windows onto an ideal Paris.&nbsp;Almost as polished as Emily's, but authentic, this one...Before your eyes, the inimitable silver-grey of the roofs of the capital and the Sacr&eacute;-Coeur basilica. Some suites have a balcony and the superb Rooftop Suite , on the 7th floor (accessible by a private lift), continues with a huge tree-lined terrace which offers a 180&deg; panoramic view of the city and its most emblematic monuments.&nbsp;

At Caf&eacute; 52 Paris 1st, a place to a neat gastronomy that respects the environment. This is because chef Maxime Raab is particularly careful to work only with products selected from partners who favour short circuits. The meat comes from farms with certified labels and the fish from responsible and measured fishing. It is therefore not surprising that this healthy and committed cuisine which varies with the seasons gives pride of place to vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free options... It is served in the cozy setting of the restaurant and, on sunny days, on the terrace, directly on the Place de Valois.
After a day of discovery and shopping in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/travel/where-to-stay-in-paris-hotel-monsieur-aristide" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paris</a>, customers enjoy a moment of relaxation in the small wellness area of the hotel. It consists of a hammam and a jacuzzi beautifully decorated with mosaics, a fitness room and two cabins for treatments and massages with products from the Holidermie brand by M&eacute;lanie Huynh.
We won't surprise you by saying that the Grand H&ocirc;tel du Palais Royal jumped at the chance to ride the wave of success of the Netflix series by offering its guests a "Live the dream of Emily" package with a night in the Junior Suite Emily whose balcony overlooks the famous Place de Valois, with a few goodies..
