Lina Kjellevertz, the co-founder of Palma&rsquo;s hippest interiors store, spills her secrets for a festive family season on her adopted island

'Christmas time in Palma is the coziest time of the year. We usually do a Christmas dinner at home with family, but we start with a drink at Gibson in Plaza Mercat, a classic bar known for its warm and atmospheric interior, crowded terrace and generous gin and tonics! The Christmas lights are shining all around and and you are in the middle of the all the buzz, close to both restaurants and shops. The kids run around in the plaza and eat glazed apples from the little stand that looks like it&rsquo;s been there longer than Jesus himself. I usually sneak away from the family to find some cute gifts (one for myself as well, obviously), at <a href="https://www.instagram.com/bazaarpalma/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bazaar Palma</a>. This year I bought a metal star garland that I put in our kitchen and that I think will leave it to hang there all year round. Bazaar are masters of table settings and this year is no exception. Then we either stroll up to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/toquedequedamallorca/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Toque de Queda</a> and have their fantastic zucchini carpaccio or we jump in a taxi up to G&egrave;nova - five minutes outside Palma - and have fantastic pizza in the cutest, kitschiest pizza <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/five-enchanting-restaurants-in-ibiza-town" target="_blank" rel="noopener">restaurant on the island</a>, Sa Ximbomba. I always order the Mallorca pizza with sobrasada and honey. The staff are super friendly, the ambience is warm and the pizzas &ndash; and d&eacute;cor - are amazing.

There are plenty of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/a-foodie-s-guide-to-ibiza" target="_blank" rel="noopener">markets</a> around and each town creates its own. This year Santa Maria has a very nice one with local products and foods every Sunday. But the most famous one is probably the one in Portals and it&rsquo;s well worth a visit. Expect mulled wine, delicious local products, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/christmas-gifting-in-ibiza-with-maison-m-s-margherita-hunt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gifts</a>, crafts and lots of fun activities for the kids. Go when it&rsquo;s dark so the twinkly lights and the Christmas music really get you in the mood. It&rsquo;s open until the 6th of January.
 Our showroom gets very busy over the festive season, with people choosing from our vintage, art and new furniture collections. We absolutely love wrapping and sharing beautiful gifts on Christmas day. In my stocking this year I&rsquo;d love to find a stay at the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/meemtownhouse/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Meem Townhouse</a> hotel in Soller, perhaps without my (lovely but very wild) kids. I&rsquo;d snuggle in with a good book and a nice bottle of rioja, perhaps tucked up in a new cosy cashmere set from fellow Mallorca girl <a href="https://www.instagram.com/zoe_jor_dan/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zo&euml; Jordan</a>. That would make me very happy.'
