Bella Hadid admits that social networks don't show reality.

Bella Hadid may be one of the biggest models today, but even that title didn't stop her mental health from being affected. In an emotional post on her Instagram account to more than 47 million followers, the top model confessed that she suffers deeply from depression and has been crying almost daily for the last few years.
The 25-year-old star was inspired to see Willow Smith's new clip discussing the relationship between art and self-loathing, which ultimately led Bella to link the topic to her own feelings of insecurity. With several photos depicting her bad phases, the top decided to open the game about her current situation.

"Love you and your words. It made me feel a little less alone and that's why I wanted to post this. This is pretty much my day-to-day, every night. For a few years now.
Social media is not real. For anyone struggling, remember this. Sometimes all you need to hear is that you are not alone. So from me to you, you are not alone. I love you, I see you and I hear you. Self help and mental illness/chemical imbalance are not linear and are almost like a roller coaster of obstacles...It has its ups and downs, and different sides.
But I want you to know: there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the roller coaster always comes to a complete stop at some point. (There's always room to start over, but for me it's always been nice to know that even if it's a few days, weeks, or months, it gets better, to some degree, even for a moment.)
It took me a long time to get this into my mind, but I've had enough meltdowns and burnouts [an issue increasingly hitting the new generation] to know this: if you work hard enough on yourself, taking time alone to understand your traumas , triggers, joys and routine, you will be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to deal with it.
That's all you can ask of yourself. Anyway, I don't know why, but it seems increasingly difficult not to share my truth here. Thank you for having me and thank you for listening. I love you"
