When Priscilla Beaulieu was 14 years old, she met the already famous Elvis Presley, who was serving as a soldier in Germany, where her stepfather was stationed. The rock star, 10 years her senior, quickly fell for Priscilla and they began what would become a seven-year courtship. Their public acquaintance made Priscilla quickly accustomed to Elvis&#39;s fame, and her family was hesitant about allowing her to move into Graceland, the rock star&#39;s estate in Memphis, Tennessee. Although their relationship was marred by rumors of Elvis &#39;s Hollywood escapades , the couple eventually married in 1967 , when Priscilla was 22 . Just a year later, they welcomed their only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. However, by 1972, their relationship was too rocky to mend, and the couple decided to divorce later that year.

Priscilla subsequently opened a boutique in Los Angeles called Bis and Beau, after her business partner, Olivia Bis, and her own maiden name, Beaulieu. He gained a famous following, thanks in part to the support of Elvis, with whom he continued a friendship, as well as Cher, Tina Turner, and Barbra Streisand. Priscilla's experience as a business owner would help her manage Elvis's estate after his untimely death in 1977.
