We separate some curiosities about the film of one of the most iconic artists who has ever taken the stage in history.

Elvis debuts in Brazilian cinemas to portray the life of the king of rock. Starring Austin Butler (from Once Upon a Time Hollywood...), the feature film directed by Baz Luhrmann delves into the more than 20 years of partnership between the star and businessman Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), including the meeting with Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge) with whom he maintained a relationship and was a true inspiration for his life, until his tragic death at the age of 42.

Austin Butler wore over 90 looks to play Elvis
To portray different phases of the star's career, the productions follow his charges in style. At the height of his fame, the singer began to wear overalls, metallic tailoring and lace shirts. The iconic pink rockabilly suit shares scenes with leather jackets, baggy pants and other extravagant pieces that have marked stages and films starring the singer.
Miuccia Prada designs the costumes for Elvis and Priscilla Presley
Celebrating the partnership with Catherine Martin, award-winning costume designer for The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge and wife of the director Baz Luhrmann, Miuccia Prada also lends her eyes to the production of the protagonist, Priscila Presley, playd by Olivia DeJonge, and other characters. With typical looks from the 50s and 60s, some pieces were made exclusively for the film and revisit the archives of Prada and Miu Miu.

The star's iconic pieces were recreated with permission from Bill Belew, Elvis' costume designer.
The feature film team collaborated with Kim and Butch Polson of B&amp;K Enterprises to recreate famous Elvis Presley stage costumes from the 1970s. Express permission was given by Bill Belew, the rockstar's longtime costume designer. The jumpsuits were comissioned by the production and made in the same way as the originals, including the chain stitch embroidery done by Jean Doucette, an artist who personally embroidered the pieces. Colorful and metallic suits, like the gold lam&eacute; used on the cover of their debut album 50,000,000 Elvis fans can't be wrong, are in the film.

Peacock Suit Was Elvis Presley's Favorite Look
The peacock embroidered on the front and back of the white jumpsuit encrusted with stones and crystals was used by the star in performances in the 70s. One of the main recreations for the film, the flamboyance of colors and materials embodied the transgressive and youthful spirit that made Elvis Presley be immortalized by his attitude on stage and in the wardrobe.
