L’OFFICIEL: Can you tell us about your collaboration with <a href="https://www.silhouette.com/fr/fr/home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Silhouette Eyewear</a> ? <a href="https://www.instagram.com/arizona_muse?igsh=MTBuYWt2OGdqdWhmcg==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arizona Muse</a> : I am thrilled to collaborate with Silhouette on the Clear Sky collection. This project beautifully combines sustainable innovation with timeless design, which makes it truly special. I deeply admire Silhouette’s bold commitment to using bio-circular materials, something that urgently needs to be expanded in fashion and eyewear. For me, this partnership is more than just a classic collaboration; it’s about aligning with a brand that is truly dedicated to driving meaningful change.

LO: What values do you share with the brand? AM: The Clear Sky campaign, with its inspiring slogan “Let’s be the world we want to see,” perfectly reflects the values we share. This message underscores our collective responsibility to leave a positive impact on the planet for future generations. Every decision we make—whether in fashion, design, or our daily lives—can help shape a better world. Silhouette embodies this commitment by taking meaningful steps toward sustainability, creating eyewear that seamlessly blends innovation, elegance, and respect for the Earth. It’s a vision I wholeheartedly support.

LO: What makes Clear Sky an innovation that appealed to you? AM: What makes the Clear Sky collection so special is its ability to combine sustainability, innovation and aesthetics so effortlessly. Silhouette has reimagined what eyewear can be by using innovative materials like SPX Green+, which is made from bio-circular materials derived from organic waste. This not only reduces carbon emissions by 60%, but also shows how fashion can move away from fossil fuels while still delivering exceptional quality and performance. It’s so refreshing to see a brand that doesn’t just talk about sustainability, but takes meaningful steps to achieve it.

LO: What role does sustainable development play in your life? AM: Sustainability is at the core of everything I do. A few years ago, I founded <a href="https://www.dirt.charity/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DIRT Charity</a> , an organization that promotes biodynamic and regenerative agriculture for textiles. The health of our soil is a topic that is particularly close to my heart, as it is vital to the future of our planet. Textiles are often overlooked when we think of agriculture, but silk, leather, cotton, and wool, for example, are all grown in soil, and their farmers could be helped to farm in ways that restore the health of our planet. I have also made it a personal mission to use my voice to raise awareness of the environmental impact of fashion and to lobby for change wherever I can. Whether it’s the food I eat, the clothes I wear, or the brands I work with, I try to make choices that are kind to the Earth.

LO: What do you recommend to those who want to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle? AM: Start small and don’t be too hard on yourself—it’s a journey, not a destination. I always recommend being curious: find out where your products come from and how they’re made. Make conscious choices: buy fewer things, but better—focus on quality and longevity, look for certifications like Organic or Demeter. Support sustainable brands: there are so many amazing companies making real efforts to do better. Make noise for your governments to hear: write to your representatives and tell them you want their policies to support and enforce a healthy future. Reconnect with nature: whether it’s growing your own food, visiting a farmers market, or simply spending more time outdoors, nature has a way of reminding us of what really matters. Small changes add up and, over time, make a big difference.

LO: Do you think that fashion and sustainable development are compatible? AM: Absolutely. While it’s a huge challenge, I believe fashion has a unique opportunity to lead the charge toward sustainability. As an industry that touches everyone’s lives, it has the power to inspire millions of people to think and act more consciously. Silhouette’s Clear Sky collection is a shining example of how fashion and sustainability can come together in a truly meaningful way.

LO: What is your relationship with fashion in everyday life? AM: Fashion, for me, is about expressing who I am while being mindful of the planet. I choose clothes that are well-made and made from materials that contribute to the regeneration of our planet, whether that’s organic farming or non-toxic dyes. I also love working with sustainable brands that share my values. Fashion can be such a creative and joyful part of life, but I think it’s important to approach it with care and intention.
