Celebrity nutritional therapist and top model Rosemary Ferguson joins forces with luxe bolthole Fincadelica San Lorenzo to deliver a <a href="https://www.fincadelicaibiza.com/seasonal-happenings/the-5-day-plan">five-day reset retreat in Ibiza.</a>

Rosemary Ferguson knows a thing or two about how to look good. At the top of her modelling game for over two decades, she has fronted campaigns for Miu Miu, Prada, Armani and Jill Sander and walked the runway for the likes of Chanel, Versace, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. But how do you make that beauty shine from the inside out? That was the catalyst for Rose&rsquo;s deep dive into functional medicine over 15 years ago, when she made the decision to qualify as a naturopath and nutritionist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Rose went on to study functional medicine for three years in the USA&nbsp; before training for an MSc in advanced nutrition, research and practice at London South Bank University. Rose now heads up a busy clinic, is the author of the best-selling recipe book, Juice, and contributes to Vogue and The Beauty Papers.

In 2018 Rose founded <a href="https://the5dayplan.co.uk/">The 5-Day Plan</a>, a monthly food plan delivery format to demonstrate that clients can eat well, not feel hungry, feel great and lose weight in just five days &ndash; earning her the enviable moniker of&nbsp; &lsquo;Queen of the Reset&rsquo;. As one of the wellness world's best-loved luminaries, we asked Rose to share a few words of wisdom ahead of her Ibiza reset.&nbsp;

 A morning routine is great thing to stick to&hellip;
 I&rsquo;ll wake up I&rsquo;ll move, then I&rsquo;ll breathe, then I will have some sort of protein or savoury based <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/why-a-stable-blood-sugar-level-is-so-important" target="_blank" rel="noopener">breakfast</a>, like eggs or avocado or even a smoothie with some nut butter and some protein powder. I&rsquo;m great believer in getting the day started right.

 Movement is incredibly important to our overall health&hellip;
 I might do 20 minutes of stretching or weights. If I'm going to do a class, it'll probably be a Pilates class. I like Mat and Reformer. I actually find Mat Pilates harder because I somehow manage to cheat the Reformer! I also love a 20-minute run outside to really wake up the system, especially If I&rsquo;m travelling. It&rsquo;s a great way to explore a new neighbourhood.

 Modelling taught me to really take care of my skin&hellip;
 I&rsquo;m a fan of layering. I use two serums, then a moisturizer and then I might put an oil on top of that because I really like that dewy feel. And I always wear sunscreen, come rain or shine. That&rsquo;s a non-negotiable.

 Supplements are an occupational hazard for me&hellip;
 The one that I have taken consistently through thick and thin is something called glutathione. It&rsquo;s very, very good for the liver and we make less as we get older. I love a green powder called Pure Synergy, which I use all the time. I like powders because you feel like a chemist making up different concoctions. I always take <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/dietary-supplements-for-the-skin-which-vitamins-and-minerals-are-wich" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vitamin D</a> in winter and a scoop of chlorella is great for boosting your nutrient profile.

 The thing that's funny about biohacking is this idea that you have to invest in things&hellip;
 The essence of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/soul-spirituality/unlocking-human-potential-a-deep-dive-into-biohacking-and-its-everyday-applicatio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">biohacking</a> is simply that it makes your body work better. With that in mind, eating more vegetables is a biohack, because you&rsquo;re feeding the microbiome. One thing I do love is cold therapy, which is easy, free and a good hermetic stressor. It makes the body work a bit harder and therefore it makes it stronger and more resilient. It&rsquo;s also very good for your dopamine pathways and for circulation, too.

 The depths of winter are not a natural time to reset&hellip;
 I think people go so hard on themselves in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/january-first-full-moon-2024-ibiza-astrology-alicia-orre" target="_blank" rel="noopener">January</a> and just leave themselves feeling deflated because they might not be able to pull off whatever crazy scheme they've got going. March is a really good time to rest because it&rsquo;s spring and everything's coming back to life. There&rsquo;s hope in the air. From a slightly vainer perspective we&rsquo;re also tuning our minds to getting our kit off! Spring is a really important time of year for rejuvenation.

 The atmosphere on the island is, and always has been one of community and positivity, even going back to the 1960s. It&rsquo;s always been a place to come to restore and heal and the energy is so beautiful.
