Each week, one of Ibiza&rsquo;s most fascinating residents shares their tips on where to eat, drink, play and discover the unseen side of the island.&nbsp;

 Gallerist <a href="http://www.sucotorres.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarah Suco Torres</a> was born in Brussels and has travelled the world studying art and philosophy. The former Perrotin staffer worked in blue-chip contemporary art galleries in New York, Brussels, and Paris before moving to Ibiza to open pop-up gallery <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cangaritaibiza/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Can Garita</a>. This year sees her launch an art residency programme at Santa Gertrudis&rsquo; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lascicadasibiza/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Las Cicadas</a>. &lsquo;Following my first stay in Ibiza, I was completely taken by the charm of this island, where energy and tranquillity coexist&rsquo;, says Torres. &lsquo;I was enchanted by the nature and by the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/people-of-ibiza/rolf-blakstad-ibiza-architect-portrait" target="_blank" rel="noopener">local architecture</a>, which fuses function and symbolism to hypnotic effect.&rsquo;

 A sporty outdoor location in the northwest of the island where you get everything at once: <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-outdoors-christmas-and-new-year-with-balearic-outdoor-adventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hiking</a>, climbing, nature, sunset, ... and a surprise swim at the end of the trip.

 It&rsquo;s difficult to describe the feeling of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-outdoors-christmas-and-new-year-with-balearic-outdoor-adventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Punta Galera</a>, where magic, serenity and mystery coexist. The jagged rocks invite you to dive in the beautiful water and swim far from shore. I can while away hours at this place, where the immensity of the nature is a show in itself.

 Contemporary art has always been an important part of my life. When I&rsquo;m on the island, I love to enjoy the things I cannot find in the city but visiting exhibitions is always a plus. Especially when programme is strong, international and presented in a former carpenter's workshop.

 As they say... It's all about love! Going to this beautiful <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/people-of-ibiza/pierre-traversier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boutique hotel</a> is like travelling through time and space &ndash; a visual explosion of styles, colours and shapes. The curated mix creates a unique and vibrant space to hang out, have a sip, a swim, find a gem at the store. There is fascinating dialogue between the authentic architecture and the curation, it's a truly ambitious design experience!&nbsp;

 I love to spend time at the casetes de pescadores and explore the archaeological sites here &ndash; it&rsquo;s the best way to understand the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/peace-and-love-and-protests-the-evolution-of-ibiza-s-hippies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">history of Ibiza</a>. Sa Caleta is very important to me as it&rsquo;s where I launched my first project on the island, Can Garita: a contemporary art gallery presented in Ibiza&rsquo;s vernacular architecture.

 Art museums represent both the future and the past and Ibiza&rsquo;s contemporary art museum is a great example of this. The historic Old Town museum highlights the importance of both local and international talent in Ibiza&rsquo;s artistic heritage, with a fabulous collection featuring works by Grupo Ibiza &lsquo;59, Antoni T&agrave;pies, Julio Le Parc and Erwin Bechtold. I love to wander here alone to remind myself why I fell in love with Ibiza.&nbsp;
