Ibiza Dreamer is a space for those who may not live on the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/my-island-anna-unwin-interior-stylist-and-vintage-buyer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">island</a> but carry it in their hearts. It&rsquo;s for the creatives, the visionaries, and the wanderers who return time and again, drawn by its energy, beauty, and inspiration.
Our first Ibiza Dreamer is <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sarahardan/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarah Hardan</a>&mdash;a DJ, event curator, and creative force whose journey has taken her from global fashion brands to the world&rsquo;s most exciting dance floors. Born in Beirut, based in Dubai, but forever drawn to <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/people-of-ibiza/people-of-ibiza-virginia-sancho-art-director" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ibiza</a>, Sarah sees the island as her reset button, a place that moves at its own rhythm and inspires her work in ways no other place can.
Here, she shares how Ibiza fuels her creativity, shapes her biggest projects, and always calls her back.

I am from Beirut, Lebanon. I call Dubai home, but Ibiza is where my soul resets.

I first discovered Ibiza in 2014, but it wasn&rsquo;t until 2019 that it truly became a part of me. Since then, I&rsquo;ve returned every year, staying longer each time, until now, when I&rsquo;m finally making it my second home.

My initial visit to the island was driven by curiosity, but I had no idea I was stepping into something that would shape me so deeply.

My first impression of Ibiza was that it wasn&rsquo;t just a place, it was a feeling. It moves on a different frequency.

Upon touchdown, the first thought that crosses my mind is: I&rsquo;m exactly where I need to be.

Ibiza has profoundly influenced my approach to life and creativity. It has taught me to trust in the natural flow of things, whether in artistic expression, human connections, or simply the journey of life itself. The island is a constant reminder that everything unfolds exactly as it should.

There&rsquo;s no doubt that Ibiza serves as a deep source of inspiration for me. It is a place where everything feels both intentional and effortless, and that balance is something I carry with me wherever I go.

One of my most significant projects, The Good Trip, was born out of the spirit of Ibiza. The island&rsquo;s energy, music, and sense of freedom inspired me to create an experience that brings people together in a meaningful way. I have no doubt that more projects influenced by Ibiza will emerge in the future.

What stands out most to me about Ibiza&rsquo;s artistic and cultural landscape is the way people come together. Whether it&rsquo;s through music, food, or simply gathering to watch the sunset, connections here feel effortless yet profoundly meaningful.

Certain places on the island never fail to inspire me, particularly those where the sun meets the sea. Watching the sky change colours is a mesmerising experience, as it never looks the same twice. For a night out, PIKES holds a special charm for me. When the lineup is good, it feels legendary. The venue captures the wild, free-spirited essence of Ibiza, not to mention its history as a 15th-century finca that once hosted icons like Freddie Mercury, Grace Jones, and many more. Unlike large nightclub spaces, it has a unique intimacy that adds to its magic.

Ibiza&rsquo;s culture and lifestyle have been a powerful teacher in slowing down and embracing the present. Unlike the relentless fast pace of big cities, the island moves to its own rhythm, and once you surrender to it, everything starts to make sense. It has taught me that time isn&rsquo;t something to be controlled and that life isn&rsquo;t meant to be rushed.

Every time I return to Ibiza, I feel an even stronger sense of belonging. As I spend more time here, I realise more and more that this is where I&rsquo;m meant to be.

There are certain sensations in Ibiza that evoke deep emotions within me. The scent of pine trees warming in the sun, the taste of fresh fruit after a swim, the sound of cicadas humming in the still afternoon, and the sight of Es Vedr&agrave; at golden hour&mdash;all these elements bring a feeling that is both grounding and uplifting.

Leaving Ibiza always brings a shift within me. I feel lighter, clearer, and more in tune with myself; the island resets me. And the moment I leave, I start counting down the days until I can return.
