Their design approach blends form and feeling, structure and soul. It is rooted in nature, guided by intuition and shaped by a Mediterranean way of living.&nbsp;

Designing in Rhythm with the Island 
For Eric and Aleix, design is not just about what you build, but how it breathes. Through materials, light and landscape, they create places that honour the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/my-island-cumhur-jay-turkish-ibiza-based-dj">island&rsquo;s</a> past, embrace its present and flow with its timeless energy.

How did you first discover Ibiza? A long time ago. My wife is from Ibiza, so love brought me here. From the very beginning, the island felt like home.
What was your first impression of Ibiza? It immediately reminded me of Costa Brava, where I spent my childhood. That same wild, honest beauty. I felt a sense of belonging from day one, especially to what I call the &ldquo;deep and true&rdquo; Ibiza.
What crosses your mind when you land on the island? Usually, I wonder: will I be able to surf this time?
How has Ibiza influenced your work or life? Completely. My family was born and raised here, and I now share both my life and work with my brother. It is the perfect balance. Ibiza gives us the right mindset to create, live and be present.
Would you say the island inspires your projects? Absolutely. Our work evolves as we live and grow on the island. The lifestyle, the energy, the landscapes&hellip; they are all reflected in the way we design.
Can you mention a few projects shaped by this influence? In all of them, you&rsquo;ll find traces of the sea and the materials of the island. Those are constant elements in our architecture.
What artistic or cultural side of Ibiza intrigues you most? The architectural and artistic legacy of Paula&rsquo;s, Eduard Micus and Erwin Broner. They each captured the essence of Ibiza while integrating their unique vision.
Is there a place on the island that you find especially inspiring? The sea. Always the sea.
Has local culture taught you anything meaningful? Yes, a lot. The architecture, the food, the dances, the people&hellip; they reflect the true Ibiza. We always try to honour that in our work.
Have you felt a sense of homecoming here? Always. Ibiza welcomes you but also transforms you.
Are there any sensory experiences that evoke strong emotion for you? The sound of crickets chirping in the heat of summer. It&rsquo;s such a simple, powerful memory.
How do you feel when you leave Ibiza? I don&rsquo;t necessarily feel it when I leave, but every time I come back, I&rsquo;m struck again by how special this island truly is.

How has Ibiza influenced your life and work? It&rsquo;s given me a lifestyle full of magic and infinite possibilities. Ibiza teaches you how to live fully and in the moment.
Would you say the island inspires you? Absolutely. It brings together all the good things: amazing food, perfect weather, breathtaking landscapes and beautiful architecture. All in one very special place.
Can you name a project that captures this spirit? Clap House is the best example. It celebrates the essence of island living. Healthy, joyful, grounded in the now.
What artistic or cultural elements of Ibiza resonate with you? The way nature is woven into everything. The materials, the light, the textures&hellip; they all come from the island itself. It&rsquo;s a treasure trove of inspiration.
Is there a place on the island that inspires you most? The middle of the sea. That feeling of total freedom.
Has the island taught you anything meaningful? The multicultural energy here is unique. People from all over the world come to Ibiza in search of a better, freer life. They bring their stories and spirit. That energy shapes the island in a powerful way.
Do you feel a sense of home here? Ibiza is home. Always.
Are there any sensory experiences on the island that move you deeply? Being next to the ocean makes me happy. And in Ibiza, you get to live outdoors year-round. That connection to nature is everything.
How do you feel when you leave? Do you notice a shift? Sometimes it&rsquo;s important to travel, to show the kids the world. But every time I leave, I&rsquo;m reminded of why people all over the world fall in love with Ibiza. It truly has a magical vibe. Coming back is always a blessing.
