The island is buzzing after its annual period of rejuvenation. As the air turns warm again, a raft of new projects and venues are opening with creativity and culture at their heart. L&rsquo;OFFICIEL IBIZA rounds up five cultural happenings in the coming weeks.

Ibiza&rsquo;s legacy at Hostal Mar y Sal
Mar Y Sal is an institution, an iconic boarding house on the sands of Salinas where the energy of Ibiza in the 1990s is still palpable. The recently renovated space has been carefully curated to tap into the links between Ibiza and the Indian subcontinent, the land of the lotus. The new owner is lyrical about Mar Y Sal&rsquo;s iconic positioning on the island, &lsquo;Mar Y Sal is something that belongs to the island and not to me personally. Just like a family watch runs though the different generations, Mar Y Sal runs through time and will stay true to the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/where-to-find-the-hippy-spirit-of-ibiza" target="_blank" rel="noopener">island&rsquo;s spirit</a> and legacy.&rsquo;&nbsp;

The Overview Effect with Eduardo Castillo
<a href="https://www.eduardocastillo.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eduardo Castillo</a> returns to Ibiza this year to explore the power of empathy and how it leads us to action. For an entire month from Friday 30 June, Castillo will be curating an &lsquo;impact container&rsquo; where guests can immerse into powerful conversation, music, art, science, philosophy, futurism, presence and human connection - through talks, activations and music. The celebrated musician and creative director aims to use his intervention to facilitate the cognitive shift&nbsp; - the Overview Effect - here on Earth.

Art and food at El Silencio
<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/portraits/a-day-in-the-ibiza-life-sonia-cardinal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">El Silencio</a> reopens the doors of its beach restaurant on Friday 28 April, welcoming chef&nbsp; Mauro Colagreco to present a revised menu of traditional Argentinian cuisine, inspired by flavors of the island. From mid-June, Colagreco will also curate a Japanese Omasake menu with a seven-dish tasting menu for only 30 people each evening. All spaces will be opened by then, including the beach and sunset deck, restaurants, swimming pool, art installations and festive cabaret, every day of the week from noon to midnight. Several exciting additions are to be expected, all with Cala Moli as the perfect backdrop while the sun melts in the sea.&nbsp;

Cultural evenings at The Standard&nbsp;
In line with their commitment to culture and creativity, Ibiza Town&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/all-change-the-great-ibiza-hotel-shakeup-of-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Standard Hotel </a>has partnered with Ibiza-based creative agency Elusive Roads to showcase a series of cultural events in collaboration with the island residents shaping the Ibiza of today. The most recent event was hosted by Liam Aldous, Monocle correspondent and founder of ColourFeel. The next talk - in May - will welcome L&rsquo;OFFICIEL IBIZA <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/maya-boyd-ibiza-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maya Boyd </a>in conversation with DJ and musical anthropologist Jaime Fiorito. Expect talks, dinners and eclectic gatherings, united under the umbrella of discovery.

Creativity at Aguamadera
Aguamadera, the hotly anticipated new agroturismo between Jesus and Cala Llonga, looks set to open shortly, a secluded hideaway with 11 serene bedrooms where nature, food, art and sound amplify the essence of wellbeing and holistic living. The space will include a permaculture farm with homegrown produce, beehives and candle making, along with holistic wellness offerings such as rituals and ceremonies, soul reading and energetic work. With community gathering areas, an indoor pool and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-s-spa-stars-time-to-get-scrubbed-up-for-summer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hammam</a>, along with spaces for yoga and Tai-Chi, <a href="https://www.aguamaderaibiza.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aguamadera </a>promises to be a place to embrace respect, silence, privacy and creative pursuits. From June, an outdoor terrace will host evenings of discovery and celebration.&nbsp;&nbsp;
