Surrounded by nature and filled with natural light Chicca's home has a purpose: to nurture the family feeling&nbsp;of being together.&nbsp;

Set in the hills of southern Ibiza and surrounded by nature that reaches the Mediterranean, this house, shaped by intentional linearity and softened by natural light, was once a well-renowned family-run restaurant. For years, the former owners grilled local meats over a large open chimney that still stands at the centre of the living room, restored, preserved, and now serving as a sculptural focal point in the space. When <a href="https://www.instagram.com/chiccasenia/?hl=en">Chicca Senia</a> and her husband, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/circolocoibiza/">Antonio Carbonaro</a>, first visited the property, the connection was immediate. Moved by the couple&rsquo;s genuine affection for the place, the former owners chose them as its next custodians.

That emotional bond has shaped everything that followed. Today, the house serves not only as the family&rsquo;s summer residence but also as a sanctuary, a creative hub, and the place from which Chicca&rsquo;s latest project was born.

&ldquo;I wanted a house you could truly live in,&rdquo; she says. &ldquo;A space with character, yes, but also comfort. A kitchen where we could all cook together, a long table for friends, enough room for each of us to be close, but also to have our own space.&rdquo;

That emotional bond has shaped everything that followed.

The renovation took three years. The original Ibizan structure, with its thick irregular walls, arched thresholds and small windows, was carefully preserved, while new interventions added light, flow and functionality. Italian materials anchor the design: marble from Salerno, hand-painted maiolica from the Amalfi Coast, natural wood, and custom-made furniture throughout.&nbsp;

&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not an architect, but I have a natural taste for beauty,&rdquo; Chicca admits, &ldquo;and I know what moves me. Every detail was chosen with purpose, clean lines, uncluttered spaces, seamless integration between architecture and landscape, water, wind and light playing a role, rooted in memory, in utility, and in beauty.&rdquo;

For Antonio, founder of the <a href="https://circolocoibiza.com">Circoloco</a> movement, the house needed to offer something else: balance. With a lifestyle shaped by music, nightlife and travel, his vision centred on health, calm and reconnection. &ldquo;He wanted space. A place to move, to breathe, to stretch out with the kids. We created a proper gym, wide open areas set in nature that evoke a zen-like calm. It&rsquo;s his reset button.&rdquo;

What I want my children to remember isn&rsquo;t just the house, but the feeling of being together, of being held. That home is not just a place, it&rsquo;s a way of being. When you live with intention, integrity and beauty, everything aligns.

The result is a home that flows intuitively: late breakfasts in the open kitchen, early dinners around a magnificent green onyx ten-metre table, long afternoons spilling into evening. Here, friends become family, colleagues become brothers, and the rhythm of the day is set by the movement of light across the floor.

It is from this same centre that Chicca has launched her first independent venture: Recreative Sun, her first ever line of functional skinwear with certified UPF 50+ sun protection. Designed using top-of-the-range recycled materials, including an engineered Econyl that guarantees breathability, shape retention and extra comfort, the collection was born from a very real need, after years of sun exposure left her skin vulnerable.

&ldquo;I couldn&rsquo;t find anything that protected me without making me feel like I was hiding. Everything felt too sporty, too technical, or just off in terms of style. I wanted to feel beautiful, feminine, and safe in the Sun.&rdquo;

Recreative Sun reimagines skinwear as lifestyle: refined silhouettes that transition from beach to boat, yoga mat to outdoor lunch, functional, flattering and rooted in real life. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s more than a product. It&rsquo;s a way of thinking. Holidays should leave memories, not marks.&rdquo;

But beyond aesthetics, there is another dimension to the house that reflects Chicca&rsquo;s approach to life: the spiritual. Scattered throughout the rooms are small energy stones she has collected while travelling, each tied to a moment, an intention, a memory. On the wall hangs a photograph by <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/connected-with-paradise">Kate Bellm</a>, taken in a cave in Mallorca, a piece she describes as a personal talisman. &ldquo;It reminds me who I am. What I value. What grounds me.&rdquo;

The emotional architecture of this house traces back to her childhood summers in her mother&rsquo;s countryside home in southern Italy, a place where life unfolded slowly, organically, always surrounded by family and flavour. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s something of that spirit here,&rdquo; she reflects. &ldquo;Not so much in the shape of the house, but in the way it&rsquo;s lived.&rdquo;
