“CD” for Christian Dior - “1947” for the year of the House&#39;s first fashion show. In this new capsule entitled “CD 1947”, Kim Jones drew inspiration from Monsieur Dior&#39;s passion for nature, to pay homage to his heritage. In this new collection, the artistic director at the head of the Men&#39;s Collections has transposed the clean lines of the founder, while using shades of gray (Mr Dior&#39;s favorite color) and pastels evoking the masculine silhouettes of British tailoring.

The pieces in the collection are distinguished by sportswear cuts and new materials that are resistant to the outdoor environment. Silhouettes that perfectly reflect the refinement of Dior and the contemporary vision of Kim Jones for an elegant summer season. From ready-to-wear to accessories, this new collection includes basics such as T-shirts and sweatshirts, but also pieces that are perfect for summer: Bermuda shorts, safari hats, or the Daffle Dior Lingot 50 bag, ideal for travel.

This collection is also marked by the first collaboration between the House of Dior and the shoe specialist Birkenstock, which offers us two unisex models for the season, the Tokio mule and the Milano sandal. This collaboration, which respects the identity of the two brands, is a nod to gardening, Cristian Dior&#39;s favorite activity and which will find its place perfectly in our dressing rooms.

Kim Jones has also thought of a complete leather gardening set, inspired by the curves of the Saddle, the House's iconic model. An ode to the art of gardening dear to Monsieur Dior, in a limited edition for those who share this passion for green spaces.
