What happens when you eliminate every superfluous decoration, every concession to ornament, every aesthetic distraction? Anthony Vaccarello responds with the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/gwyneth-paltrow-embodies-parisian-elegance-for-saint-laurent" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saint Laurent</a> autumn winter 2025 collection : a lesson in rigor and subtraction, an exercise in pure construction. The silhouette is reduced to the essential, as if traced by a few clear signs on a white sheet. The wide, stone-washed skirts meet with leather blousons, creating a tension between volume and structure. The colours are few but saturated, a dense and compact version of the Saint Laurent palette. There are no frills, no room for decoration: everything is determined by the cut and the material.

And the material is where <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/saint-laurent-ss25-the-style-of-yves-saint-laurent-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vaccarello</a> experiments the most. Guipure is combined with stretch fabrics, cigaline silk with animal and floral prints is immersed in silicone, couture fabrics become lived-in, altered, almost discomposed. The result is a new surface, with a sensuality that is more tactile than visual. The accessories &ndash; few, but calibrated &ndash; break this austerity with unexpected details. The pointed shoes are decorated with a square satin rose, while the bold jewels in rock crystal , the stone loved by monsieur Yves Saint Laurent , add a touch of mysticism.

The set? An oval of black onyx , smooth and impenetrable, whose illuminated walls seem to suggest unexplored depths. A perfect reflection of the collection itself: apparently impenetrable, but capable of revealing a deeper stratification. Vaccarello continues his dialogue with the Saint Laurent language , reducing it to the bare bones without depriving it of impact. The result is a collection that does not demand attention through excess, but conquers it with precision.
