Mariacarla Boscono, Alek Wek, Joan Smalls, Karen Elson, Eva Herzigova, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly close the Roberto Cavalli spring summer 2025 show. At Milan Fashion Week comes the tribute to the Italian designer who passed away last April 12.

At <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/roberto-cavalli-facts-history-bio-of-roberto-cavalli" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roberto Cavalli</a>, spring summer 2025 smells of Messina, where creative director Fausto Puglisi comes from, it smells of the sea and breathtaking sunsets in the ancient Greek theater of Syracuse. Puglisi outlines a high summer that brings together different ideas with a common denominator: the sexy and cheeky woman to whom the brand has always spoken. It begins with an interlocutory total white. Then it is the turn of looks constructed from rope ribs, a tribute to the nautical world. And we arrive at the shiny snake suit that opens the way to a flurry of sunset looks, prints and embroideries artfully placed on long dresses, tops, shirts, mini and maxi skirts, to be alternated with denim, ultra-decor revisitations. So far the collection, in which the designer proves once again that he is the right choice to ferry the brand forward. However, the show has a bombshell finale in store, a heartfelt tribute to the founder Roberto Cavalli, who passed away last April.

In truth, the atmosphere had already heated up upon arrival, when Eva Cavalli sits down in the bright room as always, just ahead of the divine Naomi , an experienced orchestrator of dramatic turns ( «If I&#39;m not the last one to sit down, I won&#39;t go in» , they heard her decree at the photocall). And when even the last of the season&#39;s outfits slips backstage, Roberto&#39;s portrait appears, while his voice comes out of the amplifiers: “I AM THE PARTY” . A moment of suspense and Mariacarla Boscono appears on the catwalk, wearing one of the iconic pieces designed by the stylist. She turns, blows Roberto a kiss and the party begins, a feast of top models and muses of the designer, from Alek Wek to Joan Smalls , Karen Elson, Eva Herzigova, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly. The audience stood up, a few shivers down the spine and a scene that more than any other will go down in history: the smiles and hugs with Fausto, Eva, the top models and the Cavalli family.
