For Beyoncé&#39;s seventh album, the award-winning singer and the creative director of the Balmain brand collaborate on the Renaissance Couture project: 14 high-fashion looks inspired by the songs from the singer&#39;s new album

After the capsule collection dedicated to Coachella in 2018, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/beyonce-most-grammy-awards-record-breaking-history-renaissance-winner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Beyonc&eacute;</a> collaborates with <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/balmain-womens-show-autumn-winter-2023-2024-collection-photo-look-video" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Balmain </a>and its creative director Oliver Rousteing .
14 looks designed for the 16 tracks of the Renaissance album: for five months, the design team of Balmain and Olivier Rousteing joined forces with Beyonc&eacute; and her stylist Marni Senofonte to create 14 looks inspired by the songs of singer's latest album.
&ldquo;Beyonc&eacute; clearly understood how much we wanted to start dancing again. Beyond that, Bey's spirit, music, commitments and messages inspired me to expand my fashion vision into some new paths, triggering a wave of new ideas that turned my summer into days and nights filled with non-stop sketching and experimenting with completely new techniques. I will be forever grateful to her for all this irresistible inspiration," explains Olivier Rousteing.
Beyonc&eacute; has collaborated as co-designer of this new RENAISSANCE Couture by Beyonc&eacute; x Balmain collection, where each look is inspired by a different strand of the creative genius that distinguishes the singer's seventh solo album.
Two of these outfits had already been unveiled earlier this year, worn by Beyonc&eacute; at the Grammys and the BRIT Awards.
"While working on our RENAISSANCE Couture by Beyonc&eacute; x Balmain , my team and I were finalizing Balmain's latest Paris Fashion Week shows and presentations, heavily focused on our founder's incredible legacy. For men's and women's fall collections we drew direct inspiration from the house's rich archives.This treasure trove brims with more than 75 years of extraordinary creations, starting with the designs at the house's first presentation, when Pierre Balmain stunned the fashion world with his bold New French Style and helped chart a new avenue for post-war Parisian fashion. Maybe it's because I've been focusing a lot on history lately, but I can't help but be excited about the historical aspects of this collaboration. It appears to be the first time a black woman has collaborated on the making a haute couture collection from a historic Parisian house, and these models were created in collaboration with the first black man to ever create all the collections of a historic Parisian house. We hope these two firsts help inspire many more. Furthermore, I am sure that these looks from the RENAISSANCE Couture Collection, once they enter the archives of the house, are destined to inspire generations of future Balmain designers. " said Olivier Rousteing.
