After a three-year hiatus, Mugler has returned back to the fashion calendar.&nbsp;

It's been three years since Mugler presented a collection during fashion week, easily marking this show as one of the most highly anticipated of the season. Already differentiating itself from other ready-to-wear collections that are set to be presented in the coming weeks, the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/alexa-chung-french-girl-style-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">French fashion </a>house decided to have its runway show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. The show took place Thursday at Paris&rsquo; cultural complex, La Villette. This is the first in-person runway show Mugler's Creative Director, Casey Cadwallader, exhibited since February 2020, prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.&nbsp;
After the death of Mugler founder, <a href="https://www.mugler.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thierry Mugler</a>, last year, the Brooklyn Museum in New York City dedicated an exhibition in his honor, Thierry Mugler: Couturissime, which highlighted his importance and presence throughout 20th-century fashion. Known for his architectural, avant-garde designs, Mugler's place in the fashion realm is dearly missed. But Casey Cadwallader, who was appointed as Mugler's Creative Director in 2017, has continued to prove himself as a force to be reckoned with.&nbsp;
<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/leather-pants-for-women-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Leather</a> detailing, architectural shapes, and black <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lace-fashion-history-symbol-lingerie-chanel-fendi">lace</a> trimming make up a large part of Cadwallader's Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The show's over-the-top sleeves and pant legs contrast the form-fitting waists. The juxtaposition between the simplicity of color (black being the primary color throughout the collection) and exaggerated, futuristic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/spring-summer-2022-runway-fashion-trends">silhouettes</a> proves Cadwallader's persistence as a successful designer whilst keeping Thierry Mugler's vision alive. The show combined both traditional runway walking and a technological aspect that featured models on a moving stand with a camera: this allowed for more artistry and variation in their performances.&nbsp;&nbsp;
