In the medieval setting of the Chateau de Vincennes, Jonathan Anderson presents the new women&#39;s autumn winter 2024-25 collection. Special guests in the first row: Shawn Mendes, Emily Ratajkowski, Ed McVey, Pharrell Williams and Catherine Deneuve.

The spaces of the Chateau de Vincennes are rethought as if they were an infinite labyrinth made of passages with barrel vaults. The models walk through door after door parading with confidence and determination in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/loewe-mens-autumn-winter-2024-25-collection-jonathan-anderson-richard-hawkins" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Loewe</a> 's new creations. &laquo;I think we live in paradise. This is a Garden of Eden. Really. It may be the only paradise we will ever know about. And it's so wonderful. And you feel like you want to paint" these are the words of Albert York reported on the press note, an artist from Detroit even collected by Jaqueline Kennedy. Today his works - small in size for an American - as well as being exhibited at the MoMa in New York were present in the location of the fashion show.

Starting from York's creative practice, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/jonathan-anderson-fashion-designer-creative-director-life-story" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonathan Anderson</a> directs a study of their origins and their value today. On the parade are polo shirts in wool knitwear with yarns that fall apart until they return to raw material, dresses that depict a mosaic dog and coats that recall works of cabinet-making, beaded reproductions of a floral living room tapestry on the dresses and caviar pearls that appear on the dresses, biker boots and Squeeze bags. Draped nappa blousons closed with a minimalist belt, leather aviator jackets and ostrich skin printed with a trompe l'oeil. And then a bon-ton wardrobe made of tartan prints that melt onto cut chiffon, floral all-overs and super essential checks.
Jonathan Anderson with the Loewe fashion show asks us yet another question: &laquo;Are we really interested in a return to the origins? What would that mean today?&rdquo; . And his answer lies in good taste, in the effective simplicity of things and in the creativity that still generates amazement today.
