In 2008, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/victoria-beckham-s-fusion-of-masculine-and-feminine-styles-for-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Victoria Beckham</a> was famous for her brown skin and her habit of never smiling in photos. Yves Saint Laurent&#39;s Le Smoking (1975)

In 1966, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/le-smoking-jacket-yves-saint-laurent-alessandro-michele" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yves Saint Laurent</a> launched "Le Smoking" - the first suit for women to wear in the evenings. This idea was inspired by YSL from the silk vests that men often wear to protect their clothes from cigarette ash. YSL's version specifically for women has a softer waist and neater collar. YSL shared that he was impressed by the photo of Marlene Dietrich wearing men's clothes. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/vivienne-westwood-corsets-1987-to-present-day-an-exhibition-starts-may-8th-in-lon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vivienne Westwood</a> and her partner Malcolm McLaren opened a store called Sex, later renamed Worlds End, on Kings Road in London.
