Festive Sequin dresses for Christmas or New Year's Eve parties.&nbsp;

Sequins. Sequins. Sequins. Sequins between Christmas and New Year are a must. They solve the look , whether it's an accessory, a minidress , a blazer or a very high pump . Opalescent and in all their variations: micro, macro, gold, black, silver or multicolor, round or irregular, what matters is that they shine. Fashion loves them and brings them to the catwalk. We saw them this year in Sabato De Sarno 's <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/celebrate-the-art-of-giving-with-gucci-s-gift-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gucci</a> , in Miuccia and Raf Simons ' <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/celebrating-110-years-of-prada-at-the-spring-summer-2024-milan-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prada</a> or even in the midi skirts of N&deg;21, Proenza Schouler and Dries Van Noten . &nbsp; Already in the 80s, Enrico Coveri was one of the first to cover his clothes in sequins. In the same years, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/gianni-versace-assassination-history-career" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gianni Versace</a> relaunched the mini mesh dress with his iconic metallic mesh. It's impossible not to mention Paco Rabanne . His "link dresses" appeared on the catwalk as early as 1966. Real jewel dresses, in very light steel. Over the years the metal mesh has evolved, changing shapes, colours, textures but has remained an icon/symbol of the brand. Over 50 years later, metallic mesh, sequins and applications remain a great choice for December evenings, but not only. They can also be worn during the day, played down with contrasting fabrics, garments and shoes.
