Last October, Chlo&eacute; announced that <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/chloe-chemena-kamali-s-debut-autumn-winter-2024-collection-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chemena Kamali</a> would take over from Gabriela Hearst as its new Creative Director. Chemena Kamali has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years and worked for <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/chloe-x-atelier-jolie-collaboration-discover-the-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chlo&eacute;</a> for many years. She first joined the Chlo&eacute; team under Phoebe Philo and then rejoined Chlo&eacute; in 2013 as Design Director working with Clare Waight Keller. In 2016, she left Chlo&eacute; to join Saint Laurent as Women's Ready-to-Wear Design Director, working with Anthony Vaccarello.
In February this year, the new creative director released her first catwalk collection at Paris Fashion Week, bringing everyone a familiar yet modern new look for Chlo&eacute;. At the time, she said: "I want to return to the origins of the brand and create a Chlo&eacute; that radiates warmth and positive energy." She took everyone back to Chlo&eacute; in the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/paula-s-ibiza-2024-loewe-new-campaign-spring-summer-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1970s</a> and reinterpreted the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/bohemian-style-boho-ibiza-fashion-free-spirited-ibiza-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bohemian</a> romantic style created by Karl Lagerfeld, the brand's creative director at the time.

Recently, the brand released a new 2024 winter advertising plan, showcasing the first catwalk series designed by Chemena Kamali. The photos shot by the famous photographer David Sims are full of cinematic feeling, including a series of characteristic flowing designs, lace materials, capes, well-cut formal wear and casual denim clothing.
