Emblem of the elegance of late 19th-century travel, the Malle Lit , designed in 1885 by the founder's son, George, was created to offer comfort in remote places on the planet, but immediately became a refined piece of interior design, almost a forerunner of the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/louis-vuitton-boutique-reopens-in-milan-in-montenapoleone-fashion-design-and-food" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a> Home Collection . Today, the design object is reimagined in two new versions, entrusted to Nicolas Ghesqui&egrave;re, artistic director of the women's collections, and Pharrell Williams, artistic director of the men's collections. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-womens-bags-ghesquiere-models" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ghesqui&egrave;re</a> 's Bed Trunk looks to a romantic and retro-future aesthetic with the exterior inspired by Cruise 2023 - it is covered in engraved metal plates and details that recall a distant galaxy -, and the interior dyed with delicate floral patterns, reminiscent of the spring summer 2018 collection.

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/louis-vuitton-men-pharrell-williams-and-nigo-reinvent-the-silhouette-dandy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pharrell</a> &rsquo;s version instead takes on Vuitton&rsquo;s 1872 striped waxed canvas, while the interior reveals red and white stripes, with &ldquo;LV Lovers&rdquo; jacquard details and a strong contrast between the light color of the ash wood and the black metal of the hardware. In both models, the foldable aluminum and wood structure, the memory-foam mattress and the woven cotton straps represent the perfect marriage between function and aesthetics.

<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Functionality, savoir-faire and a contemporary outlook are found in the new Louis Vuitton Home Collection, presented in Milan during Milan Design Week.</h3>

A formal expression of the French maison &#39;s art de vivre , the 2025 collection is divided into five sections. Among the creations &nbsp; from the Signature Collection &nbsp; Patrick Jouin &#39;s designs stand out &nbsp; - an armchair &nbsp; in leather with zip and golden padlock recalls the famous Vuitton trunks &nbsp; - , and objects with archetypal shapes with textures inspired by Argentine culture &nbsp; Of &nbsp; Cristián Mohaded. The Objets Nomades collection , presented as usual at Palazzo Serbelloni, continues to evolve thanks to the contribution of Patricia Urquiola and the Estúdio Campana collective .

The new proposals of the Décoration line include cashmere and wool textiles inspired by Charlotte Perriand, as well as objects designed by Jaime Hayon, in which leather meets ceramic. In the section &nbsp; Art of the Table , the Monogram LV merges with Limoges porcelain thanks to the Japanese design studio Nendo, while the futurist artist Fortunato Depero (1892 – 1960) inspires a graphic collection dedicated to the table. The Giochi collection , which expresses the most playful soul of the Louis Vuitton home collection, also features among its cult pieces the pinball machine imagined by Pharrell Williams for the men&#39;s fall winter 2025 show.
