Louis Vuitton boutique reopens in Milan in Montenapoleone: fashion, design and food
Louis Vuitton officially opens the doors of its completely renovated flagship store at number 2 Via Montenapoleone.
An intervention that does not only concern space, but the entire idea of presence according to the French fashion house.
The building that was, in the early nineteenth century, a meeting place for a circle of romantic intellectuals - from Berchet to Carlo Porta, up to Manzoni -, today returns to being a space for conversation and vision, but with another language: that of luxury as a gesture of hospitality. For the first time in Italy, Louis Vuitton opens, in collaboration with Da Vittorio , a café and a restaurant signed by the maison . The gastronomic proposal is curated by Chicco and Bobo Cerea of the three Michelin-starred restaurant Da Vittorio. The chefs of Da Vittorio are now part of the LV Culinary Community: they have shared experiences and traditions with the French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frederic, long-time collaborators of the Maison. The chefs, guided on site by Edoardo Tizzanini with the support of Davide Galbiati, are called to express themselves and experiment, even if each variation of the menu is carefully evaluated by the Cerea family. Louis Vuitton thus transforms the Milanese flagship store from a simple place of purchase, into a space of permanence, relationship and rituality.
