Andrés Reisinger is now at the Fuorisalone with an installation at Nilufar Lancetti. The artist, famous for reimagining a Wonderland 2.0, punctuated by fluffy architecture, interdimensional portals and boundless sunsets, has become famous on social media and is now ready for bigger challenges, those with reality.

A recent capsule collection with Nahmias and a new installation inaugurated for the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/milan-design-week-2024-event-guide-milan-fuorisalone-what-to-see" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fuorisalone</a> and the Milan <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/zegna-new-book-exhibition-milan-design-week-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Design Week</a> , at Nilufar Lancetti. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reisingerandres/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Andr&eacute;s Reisinger</a> imagines dreamlike scenarios dominated by surreal architecture that surpasses any constructive logic and challenges reality. His series of works &ldquo;Take Over&rdquo; reimagines Paris , New York, Tokyo, London, Rome . In his vision, a Pink Lady replaces Carroll's White Rabbit, leaving traces here and there to be identified to reach a strictly pink wonderland 2.0. His success was born on Instagram and today his account has half a million followers and is constantly growing. Two of Reisinger's works have become real, the first at the Milan Fuorisalone in 2023, thanks to the collaboration with MOOOI , which transformed his Hortensia Chair into a tangible object. And the second, "Take Over Jeddah" was realized in the Saudi city on the occasion of the "Matters through Matter" exhibition. &nbsp;
L'OFFICIEL: How did you approach the world of art and design? And digital art? Andr&eacute;s Reisinger: Since I was a child I have always dreamed of creating entire universes that reflected my imagination and in digital tools I discovered the means to unleash my creative power. &nbsp;
LO: You are of Argentine origin, has your country's cultural heritage influenced the aesthetics of your work? AR: Argentina has a rich and vibrant cultural heritage that has given me a deep curiosity and appreciation for diversity. The sense of community experienced by its people fuels my persistent need to share my artistic journey, particularly through digital and social media, which is a defining aspect of my practice. The country's natural landscape is also a key inspiration.

LO: Why did you choose the architectural language and the colour pink? AR: The choice of pink transcends mere aesthetics, takes me on a philosophical journey into the depths of the human experience and embodies feelings of comfort and security, recalling our primordial memories of the mother's womb. This innate sense of welcome is what pink instills in spaces and objects. It is also the common internal colour of all human bodies and in my creations it highlights a shared human experience, promoting unity and belonging, despite differences. &nbsp;
LO: How do you define your works? AR: The beauty of artistic expression lies in its fluidity and ability to transcend traditional boundaries. For me, embracing the unclassifiable is a conscious decision to navigate the diverse landscapes of creativity without being confined to predetermined categories, encouraging dynamic and evolving expression. This approach allows for exploration. &nbsp;
LO: Is there a work that has a particular meaning for you? AR: Each work holds a special place in my memory. It's more than a collection of isolated pieces, it's a continuous progression.
LO: Is the relationship between the tangible and the intangible a conflict? &nbsp; AR: At the heart of my work is the convergence of the tangible and digital and the desire to unlock the millions of transformative possibilities for our present and future. Their synthesis can not only enrich our experiences, but lay the foundations for a scenario in which technology, recognized as a human tool, can improve our connections.

LO: You have collaborated with well-known brands such as Dior. What was it like working with a fashion brand? AR: &nbsp; It was inspiring because at Dior they have the right intuition and skills and contribute significantly to the exploration of innovative and technological intersections. &nbsp;
LO: You took part with Kelly Wearstler in BOF VOICES 2023. What did it mean and what are the challenges awaiting you as an artist? AR: Kelly is a friend and someone I deeply admire for her incredible creative acumen. Having the chance to share a stage with her was an honor. Platforms like BOF VOICES are key to drawing attention to industry-specific issues. They become a hub for creative conversations, a place where ideas flow, collaborations are born and awareness grows. It is these spaces that really shape how we talk about and approach creativity and appreciate the value of contemporary thinking and creation. The challenge in digital art lies in its understanding and contemplation.
LO: &nbsp; Why did you title your book &ldquo;Unclassifying Book&rdquo;? &nbsp; AR: &ldquo;Unclassifying Book&rdquo; is not just a book; it's a journey through some of the crucial years of my career. This project has immense meaning to me, which is why I turned it into a collectible work of art. What makes it even more special is the team I collaborated with, among them Florencio Noceti.
