Milan, Fuorisalone and Design Week. Design brings together industry professionals, companies, students and even tourists looking for beauty, amazement and opulence in the city. Trotting around the city you come across places to discover or events to take part in.

Fuorisalone, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/gucci-collection-milan-design-week-design-again" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milan Design Week</a>. Packed city, very full, there are no taxis, slowed down vehicles and queues. That said, every corner explodes. Colours, scents, textures and materials, absurd (but functional) shapes echo through the streets and boutiques of the centre. The galleries are at their best immediately after the Miart, full of pieces and artists. One of the names of this year is the duo Draga &amp; Aurel who present in a multi-location, from Nilufar <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/design/nina-yashar-intervista-milano-design-week-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&nbsp;</a> at the headquarters in Via della Spiga and also by Rossana Orlandi.

Also at Nilufar Lancetti is the artist Andres Reisinger who returns with a new installation, completely different from the previous '12 Chairs for Meditation' , 12 white seats placed in front of a mosaic created on location which represents the passage of time, a theme dear to the Argentine artist, and accompanied by a musical composition curated by him: recorded on vinyl.

We continue with <a href="https://triennale.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Triennale Milano,</a> an obligatory institution and rite of passage for the week everyone will be looking for Mendini and the exhibition dedicated to him "I am a dragon" inaugurated by Philip Stark. Also at the Triennale, Keiji Takeuchi, a Japanese designer resident in Milan, presents Walking Sticks &amp; Canes, in the spaces of the Quadreria, involving 18 international designers, narrating design through the reinterpretation of a single object: the walking stick.

10 Corso Como is tinged with colour with Capsule Plaza, a collective and multi-sensory space of designer pieces tinged with shades of red, orange and purple. An atmosphere, and a full immersion, total 70s that takes us back, with the same light and carefree vibes.

In the Porta Venezia area, NEUTRA (a leading company in marble processing) presents &ldquo;To the edge of matter. An unforgettable journey &rdquo; curated by Migliore+Servetto. The installation is a journey into matter, both tactile and intangible. It is located at the MEET Digital Culture Center, the International Center for Digital Art and Culture.

The very rich Via Palermo, like every year, is full of spots that we recommend you discover after visiting some classics, such as Dimore di Solferino which, as always, is worth the queue. After a stroll at <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/hermes-autumn-wintere-2024-collection-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Herm&eacute;s</a> which focuses on the usual care of the installation, a pink bubble drink at Melissa and a brief immersion in the delicate world of WA:IT. The Italian brand, pioneer of eco-cosmetics, presents TO ̄ KA in collaboration with Pietro Lissoni , with a series of 500 limited edition candles, each one unique, a cuddle for the home with the scent of neroli and wild fig.

For a break in the greenery, public gardens Camilla Cederna, Treedom inaugurates its first Design Week with Tree Tales, an urban installation by the artistic collective Accademia di Aracne. The company's social mission, linked to the planting of trees around the world, is enriched with a new commercial at the Statale. The four trees involved are covered in crocheted fabrics.

As for the historic buildings, however, this year too Palazzo Litta with its Variation offers a general overview with talented artists and designers exploring shapes and materials, such as the vases of the Italian Daria Dazzan and&nbsp;the installation by the Japanese studio we+ and Elica.

In Rinascente , a new super pop and colourful corner with 60s vibes, the Seletti Market. From 11 to 29 April a real supermarket will come to life with lots of shelves and products - a selection from the catalog as well as one of spectacular fake-goods. And on April 17th the very famous, and now established Design week, Design Parade, conceived and promoted by Seletti, also returns. Because we remember Milan is not "just fashion". What's new this year? from 6.00 pm at Piazza Affari, a place that has always been a symbol of the event, we will arrive in the 5VIE district, at the Arco della Pace for the final party to conclude.
