Following a legal battle with grandmother Priscilla Presley, Riley Keough has been named owner of Graceland &mdash; the estate of the late Lisa Marie Presley.

Following the death of her mother, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/daisy-jones-and-the-six-premiere-red-carpet-looks-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riley Keough</a> has been officially named as the sole heir of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/lisa-marie-presley-died-at-54-years-old" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lisa Marie Presley</a>'s estate, Graceland. The ruling was confirmed on Friday, approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
The decision came after Keough's grandmother <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/priscilla-presley-young-elvis-wife" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Priscilla Presley</a> filed a petition in January challenging the validity of her late daughter's will, sparking a long legal dispute. While Priscilla was named trustee of the estate, she was approved of being buried next to her late husband <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/elvis-presley-check-out-the-king-of-rock-movie-trivia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elvis Presley</a> in Graceland&rsquo;s Meditation Garden &mdash; a request that was priorly denied earlier this year.

The Graceland estate, located in Memphis, was famously home to Elvis while he was alive. In able to appease <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/portraits/priscilla-presley-the-romance-of-an-age" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Priscilla</a>, Keough has reportedly agreed to pay her over $1 million to be named sole heir to Graceland, will pay her an additional $400,000 to cover legal fees, and Priscilla will serve as a special advisor to the trust with a monthly payment.
Keough will also be responsible for overseeing the sub-trusts of her 14-year-old half-sisters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, Lisa Marie's twin daughters from her marriage with musician Michael Lockwood.
"The settlement is in the best interests of minors Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood, and confirm that Michael Lockwood's signature on their behalf, as Guardian Ad Litem, is valid and binding," Judge Lynn H. Scaduto wrote in court documents <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/08/05/riley-keough-named-sole-heir-of-lisa-marie-presleys-estate-new-owner-of-graceland/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">obtained by Page Six</a>.
According to legal <a href="https://people.com/riley-keough-named-sole-trustee-of-lisa-marie-estate-7570218" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents obtained by People</a>, Keough's lawyer Justin Gold wrote that the trust money &ldquo;will be safeguarded and invested in a manner consistent with the needs of the beneficiaries, and not influenced by the desires of a trustee,&rdquo; in reference to Harper and Finley as the beneficiaries.

Earlier in June, Priscilla shared how proud Elvis would be of reaching a settlement with Keough.&nbsp;
"My daughter&rsquo;s passing was both devastating and heartbreaking,&rdquo; Priscilla wrote, <a href="https://people.com/priscilla-presley-elvis-would-be-proud-riley-keough-settlement-7547280" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to People</a>. &ldquo;We have learned that the fans realize that we are &lsquo;Just a Family.&rsquo; Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa&rsquo;s wishes are what are most important to all of us."
Elvis passed away in 1977, leaving the estate to his daughter &ndash; who died in January 2023.
