If for some the women&#39;s space mission represents a step forward in the long journey of women&#39;s emancipation , a powerful and inclusive image to offer to the girls of the world, others speak of a glossy narrative , far from the daily struggles of ordinary women . There are those who question the environmental impact of tourist space flights , those who ask for more space for science and less for entertainment , those who reinterpret the whole thing as a successful marketing operation . And yet, the truth - as often happens - lies between the lines: in that zero-gravity silence , in those shining eyes, in Perry&#39;s voice floating among the stars . The NS-31 mission didn&#39;t answer all the questions, but it posed the oldest: who we are , and where we want to go .

The cost ? Not officially declared, but it is estimated to be a six-figure sum , with a reservation costing 150 thousand dollars . But Jeff Bezos&#39; company is not alone in offering this type of &#39;service&#39; : a flight with Virgin Galactic costs 450 thousand dollars , while with Space Perspective it goes down to 125 thousand , for a longer trip but still in the testing phase.
