Spring 2024 wedding dresses have arrived! With spring also comes the wedding season and the choice of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/pink-wedding-dress-shop" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wedding dress</a> . Also seen on the catwalks during <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/marrakesh-fashion-week-shows-women-men-collection-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion week</a>s as looks part of the show, seen worn by our favourite royals (who wouldn't like a wedding dress like the one worn by Charlotte Casiraghi ?) wedding dresses range from minimal (like the Rotate collection ) to the maximal (as in the case of Viktor &amp; Rolf), with an important return of lace, with embroidery, bows and floral decorations. The dresses, however, are no longer categorized as simple "wedding dresses" but as dresses for different occasions of use: the dresses can be used not only for the wedding day but also for a very exclusive cocktail party, for a debut in society, for the eighteenth birthday party but also for changes of clothes during the wedding celebrations. An increasingly frequent option is that of the transformable dress: the use of skirts is used which are added or removed on the dress worn for the celebration, modifying the dress and making it completely different. Among the new features is the hem of the dress which will no longer be just very long but will vary between short dresses and dresses with a length below the knee.
Where can you discover the seasonal trends? Primarily at trade fairs and sector events such as Bridal Week in New York and Barcelona, ​​while in Milan there is SposaSi Italia.

<h2>Contemporary wedding with the Rotate Wedding collection</h2>
Rotate , a brand born from the collaboration of influencers and creative directors Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars based in Copenhagen, presents the spring summer 2024 bridal collection with new silhouettes and fabrics, designed with a bold bride in mind. Floral motifs and sequin ornaments play a key role, embellishing the dresses characterized by removable trains, deep necklines that leave the back uncovered, bows, flared sleeves and strapless minidresses. Taking some of the brand's most iconic silhouettes but reinterpreted in shades ranging from optical white to cream to pastels, the collection is designed for a bride who has different needs for the ceremony and after the ceremony. The international reference event in the bridal sector will be held from 5 to 8 April in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/milan-fashion-week-mfw-all-the-best-looks-from-the-runways-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milan</a>, with over 200 brands from 25 countries. Among the great confirmed and new entries Elisabetta Polignano who will kick off with the opening fashion show of the 12 fashion shows of the various maisons, Justin Alexander who will bring all his lines to the fair including Savannah Miller, Peter Langner with a fashion show-event focusing on theme of sustainability, but also Maria Pia Creazioni, Maison Signore, Michela Ferriero, Dalin Italian Atelier, Diamond Couture. Also worth keeping an eye on are the special areas including Unconventional Pop-Up which will have a selection of niche and emerging brands - Avaro Figlio, ALWSchic Milano, Bovina Fiori, Dalma Denes, Ferdinando Concept, Milan &amp; L'Amour, Myoh Jewelry, Romina Guerrera, Sara Radice Atelier, Terry Saponaro, Vaida Design, Flavia Flaming, Derani Milano, Elodie Brides and Petali, to name a few - dedicated to the total look of the modern and contemporary bride. Not just dresses for the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/marry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wedding</a> day: the dresses for special events in the Evening Dress area - including Ada Sorrentino, Badura by Aleksandra Badura, Gerardo Sacco, L'artigiano del guanto, Maria Patrizia Marra, Nanaleo Clotherapy and Sartoria74 - present the options of evening dresses designed for various occasions of use, from the prom to the change of clothes after cutting the cake up to the cocktail party. New to this edition is the bridal upcycling project in collaboration with the European Institute of Design (IED) . The project involves ten young designers from the Master in Fashion Design (coordinated by the teacher and ethical fashion ambassador Marina Spadafora ) with the aim of transforming wedding dresses destined for waste into new casual garments through upcycling, following the philosophy of " Buy less, choose well, make it last&rdquo; by <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/and-just-like-that-carrie-wears-again-vivienne-westwood-wedding-dress-photo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vivienne Westwood</a> .
