The small building with a Belle Epoque facade , designed in a post-Haussmann style by the architect Fran&ccedil;ois Durel in 1901 , was entirely restored by the architectural firm BEA SA and decorated by Pierre-Yves Rochon . As you might expect when you know the style favored by the famous interior designer, once you pass through the wrought iron door, you enter a world of classic elegance .
No rooms here, but essentially 26 suites which have benefited from the large volumes of the building in order to offer their guests beautiful spaces, entirely in the spirit of a prestigious residence . From 55m2 for the smallest junior suite up to 160m2 for the sumptuous Royal Suite which has four balconies to admire the majestic beauty of Lake Geneva and its shores... On Hungarian point parquet floors, each of the suites is dressed in light colors in shades of beige and blue , in perfect harmony with the changing hues of the light emanating from the lake. The warm carpets , the refined cosy furniture , the marble fireplaces, the custom-made bookcases and the moldings help to accentuate the feeling of staying in an elegant Parisian apartment.

Its small size does not prevent The Woodward from offering a very elaborate <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/best-restaurants-tapas-bars-barcelona" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gastronomic offer</a> in its two restaurants. First, Le Jardinier , where chef Olivier Jean serves inventive cuisine based on almost essentially regional products such as these cardoons with leeks from Geneva or these fish from the lake with vegetables from Gaia in Hermance. At Atelier Robuchon , the gourmet table, the executive chef who participated in the launches of Ateliers Robuchon in Taipei, Miami, New York and Montreal, offers an open kitchen concept where guests have the privilege of witnessing the making of their dishes live. A formula which also appealed to the Michelin Guide since this year it awarded a second star to Olivier Jean 's restaurant associated with pastry chef Titouan Claudet .
After a day of walking and shopping in the streets of Geneva , we appreciate the tranquility of the Woodward Club which has, on two floors, a superb Spa by Guerlain (the first in Switzerland) and a fitness area with the largest indoor swimming pool in the city, a gym, two hammams, two saunas, two Swedish baths and a snow shower...
