In addition to books, at Bertrand you can enjoy coffees and sweets inside the bookstore or in the surroundings. Of course, you can't leave out the custard tarts. For those passionate about architecture, Elvas, two hours (by car) away from Lisbon, is a place to appreciate the buildings of military origin.
