With its carefully decorated rooms, its farm-to-table restaurant and its non-profit artistic foundation, Villa Lena - Agriturismo and Art Foundation - brings together everything that Tuscany does best. Especially in autumn.

When you stay at Villa Lena, you embark on a true Tuscan experience, in the province of Pisa, isolated among hills, woods, vineyards, olive trees and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/five-of-the-best-ibiza-farm-shops" target="_blank" rel="noopener">organic vegetable</a> gardens. At the heart of the property is a 19th-century villa (above) originally built for an aristocratic Italian family. Around it, converted historic agricultural buildings - former farms, stables and hunting lodges - now house hotel rooms, family apartments, but above all residences for visiting artists. Because here lies the whole principle of Villa Lena: customers evolve in the same places as writers, designers, filmmakers, musicians, chefs and agricultural experts, who come to perfect their respective professions, find inspiration or simply reconnect with the nature.
And what better time than autumn to appreciate the beauty of the Tuscan countryside? At the Villa Lena Harvest Festival, which took place in October, the harvest season offered the opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of flowers. Based on experimental gardening, defending the Slowflower movement , this creative retreat - signed by the Marsano collective - was particularly interested in interior design, with the creation of clouds of vintage flowers, but also in the art of the table , drawing on <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/people-of-ibiza/people-of-ibiza-laura-de-grinyo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ceramics</a> or even seasonal cuisine with fruits and vegetables harvested directly from the garden. An impressive truffle hunt in the countryside also took place, to finally taste everything, grated on <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/comfort-food-the-recipe-for-the-perfect-cacio-pepe-e-limone-pasta" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pasta</a>, at Osteria San Michele.

If you are reading these lines once <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/the-most-beautiful-hotels-for-autumn-in-ibiza" target="_blank" rel="noopener">autumn</a> has passed, don't worry: Villa Lena is also tamed during the sunny days. Outdoor film screenings, cooking workshops, candlelit concerts and relaxation by the pool, among other things, punctuate the long summer days. We also take the opportunity to visit neighboring towns such as Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena or Florence. 
Founded by <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-s-contemporary-art-scene-how-new-communities-are-crystallizing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">contemporary art</a> collector Lena Evstafieva - former director of Pace London gallery - her musician husband J&eacute;r&ocirc;me Hadey and their friend Lionel Bensemoun, Villa Lena brings together the worlds of culture, music, art, cinema, fashion and many other creative fields in one place, inspiring and serene. She now directs the Villa Lena Art Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting international contemporary artists
