But the WILDE restaurant is also very popular, with a menu that alternates local dishes and international cuisine with special attention to fish and shellfish, played on shades of white and green and with an elegant 1930s atmosphere, and the Art Deco-inspired bar The Sidecar , which boasts an excellent and super stylish cocktail menu, with quotes from Dorothy Parker, Noel Coward, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Evelyn Waugh and delicious illustrations by Anne Harriet Fish. The names of the drinks, from Voguette to Girl&#39;s best friend, are also evocative of a mood between the Jazz Age and &quot;Gentlemen Prefer Blondes&quot;.

Recently renovated, the suites are minimalist and relaxing, in a palette of white and light grey with beautiful upholstery fabrics and marble bathrooms. While the PV Doyle Suite , named after the founder of the Doyle Collection of which the Westbury is a part, is a showcase of contemporary Irish art.

Among the experiences not to be missed in a city that is particularly festive during the Christmas period, an evening at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre designed by Daniel Libeskind , applauding the musical “Mary Poppins”. But also drinking the best Irish coffee in the city at Vice , lingering in choosing among the thousands of titles, with an important section dedicated to Ireland, of the Hodges Figgis bookshop, and buying beautiful plaids, cushion covers and sweaters in vibrant colors made by local artisans at Stable , right next to the hotel.
