Others, like Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb, suggest that the anomalous thrust could be a "technosignature," a possible sign of artificial propulsion. Despite the scientific community's caution, the debate remains open and fuels public curiosity.

No radio signals or traces of propulsion have been detected, and the most likely explanation remains natural: a fragment of ice and rock from a distant star system.

<h3 data-start="2975" data-end="3016" style="text-align: left;">Another golden comet will be visible in the skies in autumn 2025.</h3>
Parallel to the mystery of 3I/ATLAS, another celestial spectacle will illuminate the November sky: the golden comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS). Discovered in May, it will also be visible from Italy between the constellations of Virgo and Leo, trailing a golden trail. Its unique colour comes from a low concentration of carbon molecules and a high presence of dust and hydroxyl radicals. Probably originating from the Oort Cloud, this comet is a window into the birth of planetary systems.

The best time to observe the comet &nbsp; Atlas will be between November 20 and 28, 2025, when it will reach its closest point to Earth, about 180 million kilometres away. It can be observed shortly before dawn, between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m., depending on sky clarity, in the direction of the constellations Virgo and Leo.
