Lovato is now in the spotlight with the <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/musica/blanco-chi-e-intervista-e-foto-cantante-sanremo-spotify-mahmood-festival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new single</a> Skin of My Teeth. &ldquo;It represents me so much. L'OFFICIEL: Three words to describe you...
DEMI LOVATO: I would say passionate, faithful and loving. I am very focused; here let's add a fourth.
LOI: What did Demi Lovato dream of as a child? Did the dream include music?
DL: My childhood passions were closely tied to music. I always sang and played guitar and piano, wrote lyrics. I always had a feeling that who I am today was going to be the way my life would turn out.
LOI : What is the moment in your career that you are most proud of?
DL: Any ...I think there was a time when "Give Your Heart a Break" was number one on the radio and I was about to get my hands on concrete at the Chinese Grauman's Theater with Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and LA Reid. I couldn't believe it, that was really iconic and powerful. So that was probably the moment I'm most proud of. But singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl was also really cool.

LOI: What does music mean for Demi Lovato?
DL: Her healing action, her love, her anger, are all the emotions she releases and helps anyone who listens to her, if she connects and resonates with it.
LOI: What inspired the new album?
DL: My new album is definitely rock, it's a really big departure from everything I've been doing in a while I'm really excited to release this project because for me it's more authentic and closer to the musical history I started with. my trip. I feel at home with my music for the first time in a long time.
LOI: What is the best part about creating the project?
DL: Just walking into the studio with people who inspire you every day and hanging out with things that leave you even more inspired, I didn't know it was possible.

LOI: What is the relationship with fashion and the first memory linked to it? 
DL: I wear clothes that fit my body and put me at ease. I am not fond of trends. I really try to stay as consistent with myself as possible. My first fashion memory? I got a pair of Target glitter shoes and they were amazing, my favorite. They reminded me somehow of Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" and I wore them every day. It was the first time I started a relationship with an item of clothing.
LOI: What is beauty and how has it evolved over the years?
DL: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it looks different for everyone and it's something I had to learn. Not everyone will think that you are beautiful and that's okay: I work to find myself beautiful. Do you know why we are not beautiful sometimes? It is the kind of relationship you have to work on, especially with yourself and when you open your eyes to the world you can find beauty there.
