This summer she bewitched us with her "Padam Padam" and now the Australian pop star talks about her new single "Tension" from the album of the same name.

Singer, actress, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/movies-characters-who-became-fashion-icons" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion icon</a> and former cover star of L'Officiel Italia. Over the years she has also been awarded the title of "Princess of Pop" by the press. She recently presented her new single "Tension" from her latest album of the same name. During the presentation of the single, Kylie Minogue told Zane Lowe at New <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/what-books-to-pack-music-fans-should-they-pack-on-holiday" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Music</a> Daily on Apple Music 1 about her process of creating the album: &laquo;It was an incredible moment. It still doesn't seem real to me that it's happening&raquo; says Kylie Minogue &laquo;"Padam Padam" was simply a seismic phenomenon. The earth was moving and now the first concert of "Tension" has arrived. It's really exciting."

She says that the single "Tension" arrived halfway through the album writing process: &laquo;I will never forget the work done for the album, but in particular I will not forget the moment in which this single was born. I was in Surrey, UK and it was the hottest week of the year. I was with three of my favorite writers, Biff, Duck and John Green. Then two more writers came to visit us for the day, Camille and Anya. They came with incredible energy. The kids said, "Oh, good. Then we'll stay here." And she was really excited to be there because it was a great opportunity for everyone."

«&quot;Tension&quot; is a single that you don&#39;t even know how it happened» confesses Kylie Minogue «We were just letting off steam, shouting and everything, and we did it so well and we kept it on the record, literally us screaming at the top of our lungs and we said, &quot;Did you just say that? Did you just say that?&quot; &quot;Yeah, I said it.&quot; &quot;Okay.&quot; We were literally doing it. We jumped on the sofas, you should hear their opinion too, but I remember it this way. I mean, we were in a house with a pool, so it was the wrong place to record anything.
