Introducing the category, Swift noted that she herself won the award 15 years ago , joining a lineage of iconic artists like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill and Shania Twain. The gesture underscores a recognition of Beyonc&eacute;'s talent in a genre where few black women have had the opportunity to shine.
