I&rsquo;m sure you&rsquo;re all ready for new beginnings and prepared to start this year as the best version of you. There&rsquo;s no better way to begin the year with some routine to ground ourselves, and what better routine than a self-care one?
We all know the importance of good skin and the impact it has on how we&rsquo;re feeling. It&rsquo;s a struggle to stay radiant during these chillier months, so I am here to guide you to on how to enhance your winter glow.

We know good skin begins before applying your make-up and retinol is a must to add into your nighttime routine. It enhances hydration and diminishes the appearance of fine lines. <a href="https://www.paulaschoice-eu.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paula&rsquo;s Choice Retinol</a> has Vitamin C, which is super important in your skin care as it&rsquo;s one of the best ingredients for radiance and brightening skin tone. Apply to a cotton pad and sweep thoroughly over your skin before bedtime. You&rsquo;ll be obsessed!

This product is an absolute cult classic, and for good reason. <a href="https://www.chanel.com/us/makeup/p/185390/les-beiges-healthy-glow-bronzing-cream/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream</a>, a cream gel formula that&rsquo;s so easy to blend, no build up or streaking, and leaves the most gorgeous velvety finish that gives a natural sun-kissed glow. Pick up the product on your brush (kabuki, bronzer or blush brush all work fine) and take off the product on the back of your hand: this warms the product up for a seamless blend and distributes the product evenly on the brush. Apply the product where the sun naturally hits - forehead, nose, top of cheeks, chin, chest. It&rsquo;s all about the pressure - super light even pressure to create that naturally sun kissed glow. If you apply too much don&rsquo;t panic! You can always smooth over with your foundation brush. Fool proof.&nbsp;

I&rsquo;m all about easy breezy effortless products, especially in January while we&rsquo;re still finding our feet! We want minimal effort with maximum impact, that&rsquo;s exactly why I adore a skin tint. This formula is vitamin E and hyaluronic acid enriched, which is important as some tints can be drying. It gives a glow as well as a gorgeous colour and comes in six different shades. Pro tip: apply to the tops of cheeks to lift, or across the whole cheek for a plump, youthful glow.&nbsp;

A new product that&rsquo;s become a staple in my own make-up bag, which I know you will adore as much as me is Hourglass Volumizing Glossy Balm. It&rsquo;s another effective multitasker - I love to dab the excess from my lips onto my cheek bones for a juicy, effortless glow. It comes in 18 shades, some more natural or some bold and can be applied super sheer or built for a super hydrated statement lip. It&rsquo;s important to keep your lips hydrated in the cooler months and this will do just that as well as looking irresistibly kissable.&nbsp;

One more thing! A little added extra non skin related but will help you feel a little more awake (which I know I need in January). Lash curlers! My all-time faves are by <a href="https://www.shuuemura-usa.com/en_US/new-and-trending/bestsellers/iconic-eyelash-curler/4935421350853.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shu Uemura</a>. Honestly, sometimes a curl of the lashes can instantly brighten my mood. Pro tip: make sure to get right to the root of the lash, give a good squeeze, and count how many seconds you hold on each eye so they&rsquo;re evenly curled. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
