Business lead, legacy bearer, instinctive modernist, Arianna Casadei&nbsp;on island rhythms, generational craftsmanship and the evolution&nbsp;of an Italian house built on heels.

There are families in fashion, and then there are those, like <a href="https://www.instagram.com/casadeiofficial/">Casadei</a>, that carry weight through decades of craftsmanship. They evolve with grace, define their moment and leave something enduring. For <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/arianna-casadei-a-very-modern-ceo">Arianna Casadei</a>, third-generation torchbearer in a house where instinct and Italian precision walk hand in hand, this work has always followed the contours of something deeply familiar.

Founded in 1958 by her grandparents Quinto and Flora Casadei - later sculpted by her father Cesare, who remains at the creative helm - the brand is a study in Italian artistry at its most intuitive. As a child, Arianna lived it without needing to name it: the language of silhouettes, materials and sketches. &ldquo;I was surrounded by it&rdquo;, she recalls. &ldquo;It felt like a girl&rsquo;s dream - the kind of magic you don&rsquo;t question, you just absorb it&rdquo;.

At 18, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/_ariannacasadei_/">Arianna</a> rolled up her sleeves, moving through each stage of production hands-on. &ldquo;I learn by doing,&rdquo; she says, laughing at how quickly she ruled out a future in sewing. Now, General Manager Arianna oversees <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/casadei-and-agora-celebrate-island-style-in-the-north-of-ibiza">Casadei&rsquo;s</a> business, e-commerce, strategy, special projects and global expansion. Her father continues to shape the creative DNA. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re a dynamic family&rdquo;, she explains. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s always crossover - a constant sharing of ideas&rdquo;.&nbsp;

Amid the blur of flights and fittings, it&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/casadei-fully-sustainable-raffia-collection-with-the-agora">Ibiza</a> that resets her compass. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s where I&rsquo;ve seen myself change the most,&rdquo; she reflects. &ldquo;You land and it&rsquo;s like your body exhales. You can be fast or slow, social or inward. There&rsquo;s space for it all&rdquo;. That Balearic frequency lives in Salinas, a Casadei capsule collection created in collaboration with <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/casadei-and-agora-celebrate-island-style-in-the-north-of-ibiza">Agora</a>, the conscious fashion boutique tucked inside <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/six-senses-ibiza-the-wellness-hq-that-was-missing-on-the-ile-blanche">Six Senses Ibiza.</a> &ldquo;Salinas came from the island&rdquo;, Arianna explains. &ldquo;The colours, the light, the pace - it all shaped the palette and the energy of the pieces&rdquo;. &nbsp;

Now in its third season, Salinas drifts through shades of stone, sand, sea-glass blue and molten sunset. The collection includes a bucket hat and a recycled crochet beach bag in tones inspired by Ibiza&rsquo;s landscape. And always pink - a nod to her daughter and her grandmother, whom she affectionately calls a &ldquo;colour freak&rdquo;. &ldquo;When my daughter was learning to name colours, my dad pulled out swatches and taught her &lsquo;hot pink&rsquo; versus &lsquo;baby pink&rsquo;&rdquo;, Arianna grins. It runs in the family.

Beyond Salinas, Arianna is expanding the Casadei world with new expressions, like a bridal capsule, developed with couture label <a href="https://www.instagram.com/houseofgilles/?hl=de">House of Gilles</a> and launched in New York. &ldquo;Bridal is so emotional&rdquo;, she notes. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s not about wearing super high heels if that&rsquo;s not who you are. You can wear flats, platforms, even go barefoot - it&rsquo;s about what works for you&rdquo;, she says. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a piece you walk in and it stays with you - part of your memory&rdquo;.
That belief - that style should fit life, not the other way around- informs everything Arianna does. Sustainability, too, is an evolving conversation: &ldquo;We&rsquo;re experimenting through capsules&rdquo;, she adds. &ldquo;The industry isn&rsquo;t fully there yet, but we&rsquo;re moving&rdquo;.

Arianna&rsquo;s curiosity travels far. Raised travelling the world with her father - opening new markets, meeting people, learning cultures. &ldquo;Tokyo really stayed with me&rdquo;, she recalls. &ldquo;The silence, the palette - everything felt muted, deliberate. It made me rethink how we create, how we&rsquo;re understood elsewhere&rdquo;.

Motherhood, too, has deepened her lens. Watching her daughter strut around the house in custom-made mini kitten heels, a bridge between generations. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s something special in knowing that the shoes we create are part of people&rsquo;s memories,&rdquo; she says, recalling a woman who sent in a pair of Casadeis from the 1970s. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s sweet. You&rsquo;re somehow part of someone&rsquo;s story&rdquo;.&nbsp;
