Jaguar marks a dramatic turning point with the introduction of the Type 00. Designed to inspire future creations, the concept car embodies Jaguar ’s new creative philosophy of exuberant modernism. Having announced a radical transformation as an all-electric manufacturer, Jaguar reaffirms its original mantra: Copy Nothing.

Unconventional design for a new era

The Type 00 is unlike any other electric car . With its long bonnet, sweeping roofline, fastback profile and imposing 23-inch wheels, its brutal proportions push the boundaries of automotive design. &ldquo;The Type 00 commands attention, like all the best Jaguars before it,&rdquo; said Constantino Segui Gilabert, Jaguar &rsquo;s Chief Exterior Designer. &ldquo;It celebrates art and embodies the essence of British creativity.&rdquo; At the heart of this stylistic revolution, the Jaguar Electrical Architecture (JEA) plays a key role, providing a dedicated platform to explore new silhouettes. "We started from scratch to design this unique architecture. It is the cornerstone of our future," explains Adrian Mardell, CEO of JLR.

A vibrant tribute to Jaguar heritage

By naming this model Type 00, Jaguar is giving a nod to its icons of the past, notably the legendary E-Type. But beyond the name, it is the very spirit of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jaguar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jaguar</a> that resurfaces. &quot;It is the wonder of the first Jaguars that we want to recreate. With the Type 00, we are returning to our DNA: audacity, art and intense emotions&quot; , confides Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of the brand. The bold hues, Miami Pink and London Blue, illustrate this duality between heritage and modernity. The pastel pink evokes the Art Deco hues of Miami, while the silver blue pays homage to the iconic colours of Jaguars from the 1960s.

A sensory and artistic experience

The innovation doesn’t stop on the outside. Inside, Jaguar is focusing on rare and unexpected materials like travertine and polished brass. Mary Crisp, Chief Materiality Designer, explains: “Our materials are crafted like works of art. The idea is to engage all the senses to create an immersive and unique experience.” The Type 00 also offers advanced customization thanks to the Prism system. Three totems – brass, travertine and alabaster – allow you to modulate the ambiance of the cabin, influencing the lighting, sounds and even the scents diffused.

A global renaissance in Miami

It is in the vibrant setting of <a href="https://www.miamiartweek.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miami Art Week</a> that Jaguar has chosen to unveil this artistic manifesto. A decision far from insignificant, according to Rawdon Glover: &quot;Art, culture and creativity are at the heart of what Jaguar represents. Our presence here celebrates this deep connection with our customers.&quot; Jaguar took advantage of this event to announce an exclusive boutique in Paris, planned in the Golden Triangle, and the presentation, in 2025, of a four-door electric GT capable of traveling up to 770 km with a quick charge in 15 minutes.

With the Type 00, Jaguar is not just designing a car: it is proposing an artistic and futuristic vision of the automobile . By breaking free from convention, the British brand is rediscovering its legendary audacity and laying the foundations for a new era, where technology and art are one . As Gerry McGovern, Jaguar&#39;s Chief Creative Officer, perfectly sums it up: &quot;The Type 00 is much more than a car.
