Bad Bunny embraces this year's theme of "Garden of Time" as a Met Gala co-chair.&nbsp;

An icon in music and fashion, it was no shocker to learn that Benito Antonio Mart&iacute;nez Ocasio, more popularly known as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/bad-bunny-jacquemus-new-campaign-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bad Bunny,</a>&nbsp;was honoured to be a&nbsp;co-chair and host&nbsp;for this year's <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/met-gala-history-mens-looks-red-carpet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Met Gala</a>. As a Met Gala veteran, Bad Bunny has shown his impeccable eye for all things fashion, especially when it comes to staying on the theme for the Met Gala's ever-evolving concepts.&nbsp;
In 2022, Bad Bunny made his Met Gala debut in a&nbsp;Burberry&nbsp;Boilersuit, with gems in his up-do beehive hair. Last year, he stayed on theme, honouring&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/cara-delevingne-claudia-schiffer-karl-lagerfeld-muses-fashion-legacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Karl Lagerfeld,</a>&nbsp;and donned a bespoke&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/jacquemus-and-nike-swoosh-bag-collaboration-fashion-it-bags" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jacquemus</a>&nbsp;outfit in pristine white. The ensemble featured an open-back double-breasted suit jacket crafted from tweed, adorned with floral accents on the sleeves, paired with tweed trousers and a daring backless shirt. Completing the look was a custom eight-meter-long taffeta train embellished with delicate flowers. On the inside of his jacket was a custom-painted picture of Casa Malaparte, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1997.
This year, the rapper is seen donning a custom Maison Margiela ensemble. The mostly-navy look features a pop of colour on the trousers via a striking red strip, which leads your eyes down to the pair of Margiela Tabis, which seem to feature realistic fuzzy hoof-like detailing atop them. Bad Bunny's look isn't without its interesting accessories, as he was seen carrying a bouquet of black flowers, loyal to the Met Gala's dark garden theme, and a statement avant-grade hat. The look's final touch is the tiny geometric glasses that Bad Bunny is seen taking on and off as he walks the steps.&nbsp;
The rapper seems to have referenced the character Count Axel from J. G. Ballard's short story "The Garden of Time," as the story is what inspired this year's theme. However, the character-driven look isn't without a twist, as Maison Margiela's deconstructive look is seen throughout the ensemble.
