If you grew up in Paris in the 1990s, it's impossible not to remember the taste of Laura Todd cookies. Nearly a century later, the recipe remains unchanged, and is finally revealed!

Hard to believe, and yet it's a fact: before the Laura Todd house moved to Paris in 1985, we didn't eat cookies. This American from Illinois born in 1891, created her first artisanal boutique in 1933. More than 90 years later, the house has become iconic thanks to a dough cooked at low temperature, essential to the inimitable softness of Laura Todd <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/how-to-succeed-with-crunchy-hazelnuts-and-lemon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cookies</a> which stand out today from new ultra fluffy trends. She then passes on all her secrets to her children so that they can one day take up the torch. Here (finally!) is the recipe for these famous cookies to reproduce them at home.

Ingredients for 8 to 10 cookies:
- 85 grams of butter
- 57 grams of brown sugar
- 57 grams of white sugar
- 30 grams of eggs
- A pinch of yeast
- 12 grams of raisins
- 33 grams of oatmeal
- 2 grams of vanilla extract
- 45 grams of nuts
- A pinch of cinnamon

Recipe :
Mix both the sugars and the butter.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract then mix.
Add the flour, cinnamon, salt and yeast then mix again.
Add the oatmeal, nuts and raisins and mix one last time.
Form 8 small cookie dough pieces then leave to cool for at least 2 hours.
Cook for 14 minutes at 125&deg;
Once they come out of the oven, let them cool for 20 minutes before handling them (and eating them!)
