Well, not quite, but one thing is for sure: cocktails are as much a part of the warm season as hot tea is of winter. Often with a fresh or fruity note, they are ideal for an enjoyable drinking experience. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-town-s-top-five-cocktails-with-charles-vexenat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cocktails</a> are particularly popular with those who like it sweet.
But what are you drinking right now? Are pi&ntilde;a coladas out? And what can you offer guests at a garden party if you're not necessarily a drink pro? We wanted to know and went in search of the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/3-spring-fashion-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trends</a> of the moment...

<h4 style="text-align: justify;">Trend No. 1: Limoncello Spritz - the trendy alternative to the classic spritz</h4>
Classics are considered classics for a reason: They have achieved this status because they are exceptionally popular, such as the Aperol Spritz. The light aperitif has real cult status. However, if you don't always want to come back to this drink, you should definitely order Limoncello Spritz. It is, so to speak, the modern and hip version of the cult drink. Limoncello is used instead of Aperol. The fresh, alcoholic mix from Italy has experienced quite a hype, especially over the past year. With its yellowish color, just looking at it puts you in a real summer mood and has therefore earned first place in our cocktail ranking.
Doing it yourself is also uncomplicated. All you need is good quality limoncello, prosecco, soda water and fresh lemon wedges. Here's how it works: First put ice cubes in the glass, fill with approx. 60 ml limoncello, add approx. 100 ml Prosecco and top up with mineral water. Finally, stir gently and garnish with lemon slices and a straw.

The question arises whether this drink meets the criteria for a cocktail - actually not. After all, Cotton Candy Champagne is actually just champagne mixed with cotton candy. Nevertheless, it should not be missing from this list of trendy mixed drinks, as it was diligently liked on TikTok around Valentine's Day and has been copied since then. Simply put pink candy floss in a glass and top up with champagne - voil&agrave;, you have a trendy drink that Generation Z is once again responsible for. We like it too because this combo is perfect for a <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/the-fashion-girl-s-guide-to-a-chic-apartment" target="_blank" rel="noopener">girls night out</a> !

<h4 style="text-align: justify;">Trend No. 3: Strawberry Mimosa - the Mimosa Plus</h4>
Did someone say <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/here-is-the-most-colorful-peas-goat-and-strawberry-salad-of-your-summer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">strawberries</a>? Strawberry Mimosa is another classic reimagined. While champagne or prosecco is mixed with orange juice with the 08-15 Mimosa, strawberry syrup or puree and fresh strawberries are added to the Strawberry Mimosa. Pour about 10 ml of strawberry syrup into a Prosecco glass for one person, fill up with Prosecco and then add about 30 ml of orange juice. If you like, you can add small pieces of strawberry to the glass at the beginning with the strawberry syrup or garnish the edge of the glass with a strawberry at the end. This drink can also be prepared with non-alcoholic Prosecco for those who prefer to do without alcohol or who still have to get behind the wheel.

If we're talking about mild summer evenings, then of course there has to be a drink that reminds you of the sea. The Blue Lagoon, a cocktail from France , has an intense fresh note and with its significant blue color it is a real eye-catcher. 40-60ml of vodka, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, 20-30ml of blue curacao (a liqueur), lemonade and a slice of lemon for aesthetics: this is the formula for this trendy drink. Plus: Of course, ice cubes should not be missing.

<h4 style="text-align: justify;">Trend #5: Mocktails are the new cocktails</h4>
The last trend doesn't necessarily apply to a specific cocktail, but to an entire category. Not drinking alcohol is no longer considered stuffy. More and more people are making a conscious decision to forgo it. Alcohol-free cocktails are called mocktails and are totally in! For example, a mojito mocktail made of lime juice, mineral water, lots of mint, with a little sugar and ice cubes can be made in no time at all.
