For autumn 2024, Weekend Max Mara unveils its new signature collection, titled "Joy Road," in collaboration with the American actress and star of Pretty Little Liars.

Memphis, Tennessee-born <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lucyhale?igsh=c3k1cXQzNzNqM3Rv" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lucy Hale</a> , known for her roles in Pretty Little Liars , The Hating Game , Puppy Love and Which Brings Me To You , created her ideal wardrobe in collaboration with <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/weekend-max-mara-s-new-collection-summer-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Weekend Max Mara</a> . The actress drew inspiration from an imaginary journey to her ancestral roots, which led her to explore her love of nature and her quest for individuality, self-acceptance and freedom of spirit. &ldquo;Weekend Max Mara embodies the values of authenticity and freedom of spirit, two principles that I strive to uphold. These values served as a strong foundation for the creation of this collection. From the beginning, we shared a vision to embrace the aesthetic of the American West and to offer wearable pieces that encourage self-expression,&rdquo; she explains.

The bet is won: the pieces crystallize a perfect balance between the soul of the West and the urban flair . Fringes take on the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/cowboy-core-looks-how-to-style-western-chic-trend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cowboy</a> rhythm, adorning a supple leather jacket, suede pants and the iconic Pasticcino bag . A sea of denim blue sweeps over an abundance of loose jeans and mini skirts adorned with studded embroidery in washed hues or chiaroscuro effects. Outerwear is relaxed, including a gaucho-style bomber jacket, field jackets, utilitarian parkas, a Montgomery coat and a wool jacket with knitted sleeves. The palette focuses on seasonal earthy or tan tones, olive green and light blue.

L’OFFICIEL: Why did you choose the name “JoyRoad” for this new signature collection with Weekend Max Mara, and how would you describe it? Lucy Hale: I chose the name JoyRoad because “Joy” is the word I chose for myself for 2024. More situations, experiences, people, and places that spark joy. I also felt like the name really supported the collection and went with that “road trip” mentality we had when we were coming up with a theme. LO: What is your connection to the aesthetic of the American Southwest? LH: I&#39;m originally from Tennessee and have always loved the western aesthetic. I&#39;ve always enjoyed being in the country or the desert and being able to take quick trips outside of the city to feel more grounded. LO: What is your favorite item from this collection? LH: The black fringed jacket. It has so much character and makes you feel like you&#39;ve lived several lives. It&#39;s the piece I wear most often! LO: What type of woman did you have in mind when you imagined “JoyRoad”? LH: Women who are on their own path to joy. Women who have fun dressing up, who are free-spirited and playful. LO: Do you have any tips on how to wear the pieces from the collection? LH: What’s great about the collection is how easy it is to mix and match the pieces. I love wearing the Bolo tie with the button-down pants. The boots can be paired with the green beaded fringe skirt. I also like to belt the jacket to cinch in the waist. LO: How do your American origins influence your life, style and work? LH: I was born in Tennessee, which gave me strong values and a desire for simplicity. But I&#39;ve spent most of my life in California. My heart definitely lies in Los Angeles. Both places inspire me in terms of people, landscapes, fashion and music. LO: What do you like about the Weekend Max Mara style? LH: Weekend Max Mara creates everyday clothes that are very elegant, but very wearable. They capture a personality and a feeling. LO: What are the “JoyRoad” essentials that every woman should have in her wardrobe? LH: Definitely the black fringed jacket, the fringed Pasticcino bag and the fringed suede pants!
