Andreas Kronthaler continues his work in the footsteps of designer Vivienne Westwood with a autumn-winter 2024-25 fashion show with transgressive codes. The parade opens with a roughly five-minute performance featuring three men — one creating ASMR-like noises while the others danced, twirled, incessantly, to the point of making us dizzy for them.
As the show continues, the models come into play to deliver next winter's collection. We discover a series of voluminous layered looks, with singular proportions, in the essential subversive spirit of late Vivienne. The DNA of the House is found in the checked fabrics, a dress with an open chest and puffed sleeves reminiscent of an archive taken from the autumn-winter 1995 collection, XXL pumps for women and men... On the catwalk , Lila Moss, Amelia Gray, Kristen McMenamy and singer Sam Smith as if emerging from a tale where the strange reigns supreme.
