This year marks 120 years of history for Superga and 30 years of haute couture for Viktor &amp; Rolf. And while the second edition of the Viktor &amp; Rolf x Superga collaboration is still on sale, the brand unveils the autumn winter 2024-25 haute couture collection during the haute couture week in Paris.

This year we celebrate 120 years of history for <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/the-limited-edition-superga-x-missoni-collaboration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Superga</a> and 30 years of haute couture for <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/haute-couture-by-viktor-rolf-autumn-winter-2024-25" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Viktor &amp; Rolf</a> . And it's no coincidence that the two brands have reunited for the second edition of the Viktor &amp; Rolf x Superga collaboration. And if the brand founded by creative directors Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren presented the autumn winter 2024-25 haute couture collection during the Parisian haute couture week, the BasicNet brand celebrated 120 years of history at Pitti: &laquo;We are structuring ourselves to celebrate the legacy of the brand in the best possible way and continue the important history of Superga" says Lorenzo Boglione, vice president of BasicNet , during the Pitti 106 edition , "We will certainly continue to tell and enhance the story. The recipe is not easy, the only certain ingredient is that until now we have had an incredible and eternal history, we have gone from rubber boots used for agriculture, to the universe of the mountains, to then break through the sporting barrier with tennis, football, running and basketball, up to the lifestyle which for us has been the biggest growth of the brand in the last 20 years. This is a versatility that we will certainly carry forward. In the coming years we will make great use of the archive - because ours is truly a gold mine - and we will try to make these design objects contemporary. And even the opportunity to return to Pitti with a retrospective represented precisely this: remembering that Superga&reg; is not just a shoe, but a brand. This is the line we will work on for the future."

And for the occasion the two brands have come together to launch the second chapter of the Viktor &amp; Rolf x Superga collaboration which combines the timeless style of Superga and the couturish aesthetic driven by the trademarks of the Amsterdam brand including the couture flower, the bow and silicone seal (applied to the outside of the shoe) and each model is enriched on the sole with the rear rubber patch which features the Viktor&amp;Rolf logo. The capsule collection is made up of three models, specifically the 2750 available in two variants, the 2790 platform and the 2708 high top.
